Job summary:
Manage monthly inventory planning, purchase order approvals, reporting and reviews to ensure stockholding, ageing stocks and damaged stocks level are kept within target set. Supply planners are welcome to apply.
General responsibilities:
- Work out monthly and ad-hoc purchase plans to ensure stocks are kept at optimal level
- Monitor and track stock movements into and between the warehouses to maintain optimal stockholding
- Supervise the inventory system updates to ensure the accuracy of inventory records between material requirements planning (MRP) and actual levels
- Create purchase order and ensure timely submission of purchase order to client
- Track PO fulfilment, highlight major supply issues
- Review inventory holding with Client Management team. Follow through on clearance of excess inventory, obsolete, damaged & aged stocks
- Actively suggest potential ways to avoid or minimize excess inventory holding
- Prepare timely and accurate inventory reports and KPIs
- Compliance to SOP & company policies
- Housekeeping of Open PO
- Execute annual SKU Profiling & Rationalization exercise
- Collaborate with internal & external stakeholders to resolve inventory related matters
Leadership responsibilities:
- For senior executive position, he/she would have the opportunity to lead junior staff
Functional skills and knowledge:
- Demonstrate understanding of inventory planning methodologies and systems
- Demonstrate basic understanding of distribution centers, distribution and transport
- Experience in inventory management, procurement systems and logistics operations
- Demonstrate working knowledge of SAP - material requirements planning (MRP) system
- Demonstrate good analytical and quantitative skills
- Demonstrate appreciation and respect for cultural sensitivities especially in international/cross-cultural interactions

The Opportunity
Manufacturing Operations & Logistics Management:
- Oversee the scheduling of executable production operations, ensuring alignment with manufacturing demands and resource availability
- Direct and optimize all warehouse and logistics activities, including receiving, storage, internal movement, and dispatch of materials, strictly adhering to cGMP standards
- Ensure robust material flow to support continuous and efficient manufacturing processes
- Provide strategic oversight of local procurement activities for manufacturing materials, site services, and capital purchases
- Drive contract negotiations with suppliers to secure favorable terms, quality, and delivery
- Develop and nurture strong, strategic relationships with key suppliers, fostering collaboration and risk mitigation

- Partner with Global Planning and other site Leadership Team members to assess production plan feasibility, evaluate production scenarios, and optimize manufacturing schedules
- Collaborate with Strategic Planning to communicate the Manufacturing Unit’s capacity and assess capability for long-range plans, contributing to network-wide strategic initiatives
- You should have a minimum 17 years of related working experience or equivalent with Degree in supply chain, logistics, science, business, engineering or other relevant discipline or equivalent. Graduate or higher-level Degree is preferred
- You should have at least 6 or more years’ of people management experience in managing direct and indirect workforce (>20 individuals)
- You should have APICS, CPIM OR CIRM certification
- You should possess expert knowledge of supply chain management industry best practices and academic principles, practices and standards relevant to the pharmaceutical and cGMP environment as well as pharmaceutical materials management, logistics, purchasing and supply chain systems

**Material Program Manager**
**Primary** Responsibilities (responsibilities specific to this to this role)
+ Supply Management
+ Directly manage supply of a key outsourced module / component that feeds into an Applied Materials tool.
+ Provide weekly readouts on material health status to supply chain executives
+ Hosts supplier material readiness review meetings and ensures availability of supplier materials at various Applied locations globally (including sub tier components)
+ Responsible to manage market share allocations across assigned supplier(s) / programs
+ Key focal to manage supplier short shipments till full closure
+ Work with suppliers on sub tier supplier changes to support overall supply initiatives e,g capacity management, cost savings, customer needs etc.
+ Facilitate internal stakeholder discussions with suppliers to address issues gating supplier builds, e.g BOM inaccuracies, engineering spec waivers, rework orders etc.
+ Obsolescence management - Facilitate seamless transition from end of life material to replacement material through close collaborations with supplier and internal stakeholders
+ Support various inventory management programs both internally and externally e.g Consignment, VMI, Aged WIP management, safety stock etc.
+ PO management
+ Works in MRP (Materials Requirement Planning), or similar demand/supply planning system to procure materials for use in a manufacturing assembly, integration, test, or customers spares area.
+ Process purchase requisitions, purchase change orders and communicates regularly with supplier on demand forecasting
+ Provides timely updates of supplier commits to internal customers via PO promise date, PROMPT and War room files.
+ Responsible to ensure accurate part level information is maintained in MRP on a timely basis E.g lead time, cost etc.
+ Responsible to maintain accurate BOM prices and manage ad hoc supplier PPV requests
+ Supplier & stakeholder management
+ Effectively influence suppliers and internal stakeholders to meet company deliverables.
+ Act as supplier focal to highlight challenges that is impacting build, collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop solutions
+ Quarterly material and build readiness review for critical sub-tier material inventory management
+ Visiting supplier site as needed to follow up on build progress and audit actual progress of tool in WIP vs supplier commits and company need dates
**Secondary** (employees do this some of the time)
+ Ad Hoc RFQ requests to support business needs
+ Support logistics team and supplier resolution of Receiving Variant Notices (RVNs)
+ First line of escalation for Accounts Payable (AP) disputes submitted by supplier

Responsibilities:
- Manage stored inventory of machinery spares and strike a balance between excess and shortfalls
- Monitor usage trend and plan purchases
- Raise PR for planned and unplanned purchases
- Monitor PR until spares arrives
- Manage transfers of spares
- Manage 'Beyond Economical Repair' spares and follow up replenishment
- Prepare monthly reports related to spares usage and consumption levels
- Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual reports submissions
- Indent spares, monitor and ensure delivery to user
- Check and close Maintenance Order
- Liaise with client on spares matter
- Perform some hands-on packing spares may be required occasionally

Requirements:
- NTC or Diploma in any Engineering field or Logistics/Supply Chain
- Meticulous in planning and inventory tracking
- Experience in using SAP MM is advantageous
- Proficient in MS Excel
- Effective communicator with both internal and external stakeholders
- Able to handle ambiguities and uncertainties with operations and clients
