THE OPPORTUNITY
Based at Brisbane International Airport, we are seeking an Inventory Control Specialist to ensure Lotte Brisbane Airport is represented to the highest standard in all aspects of inventory control with a strong focus on maintaining accurate inventory levels and minimising inventory discrepancies. To partner and assist Store Management in executing strategies to achieve stocktake and stock loss budgets impacting GP.
The successful candidate will be comfortable working in a high volume, fast paced environment and be challenged by the opportunities that Travel retail presents.
In this role, you will be responsible for:
- Monitor inventory levels, track stock movement, and reduce discrepancies.
- Perform regular cycle counts and report results to management.
- Work with store, logistics, and Compliance teams to ensure accurate stock handling.
- Join Stock Integrity meetings and support process improvements.
- Follow company policies and report any breaches or concerns.
- Build strong internal/external relationships and support training and new procedures.
ABOUT YOU
- A successful track record in high volume fast paced retail operations with at least 2 years in loss prevention position
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong interpersonal skills, including verbal and written communication
- Demonstrates a good understanding of inventory movement process and procedures
- Proficiency in inventory management software
- Experience in executing and participating in stocktakes
- Knowledge/experience of international brands and diverse categories of products
