Job Title: Inventory Control Analyst
Location:Singapore (Labrador Park)
We are seeking a proactive and experienced Inventory Control Analyst to oversee our warehouse operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hands-on warehouse management and be capable of demonstrating exemplary proactive attitude to ensure smooth operations.
Application Process: You will be required to complete a mandatory online video assessment (HireVue) if you are shortlisted by Talent Acquisition team. You will receive an email notification about it, which will not take you more than 20 minutes to complete, and the deadline for submission is 96 hours after receiving the email.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collect all deliveries from loading bay, log, QC, receipt in, store and distribute as required. Maintain stock on shelves in a tidy manner, executing stock rotation in appropriate date order. Record all stock movements and stock issues using Inventory control system.
- Ensure accurate data entry.
- Operate all Inventory Control systems e.g. Peoplesoft, Excel and other appropriate systems to facilitate stock processing duties.
- Ensure Pre-assembly area is stocked and pick and issue internal material requisitions for all areas.
- Monthly, ensure all cycle-counts are completed and stock histories for each stock area are completed.
- Liaise with internal customers, suppliers, and the Purchasing and Finance departments on all stock related issues. Such as price variances, non-receipts of goods, supplier issues, item documentation such as MSDS and any certificates that might be requested.
- Review Inventory system and Monitor stock levels to ensure the minimum stock level is not breached, order stock as required via the system. Order stock in a timely manner taking account of lead times.
- Authorize all purchase requisition orders; check that they are processed and that ordered items arrive as required.
- Follow up on Purchase Orders to obtain delivery timescale, progress outstanding orders and escalate to supervisor for guidance.
- Set up and monitor call off orders as required.
- Review historical inventory analysis to review and update minimum and re-order stock levels in agreement with the line manager.
- Submit Inventory item creation requests, new vendor requests and item maintenance requests.
- Work closely with the Lab, purchasing and all other depts as required on all stock related issues to include pricing updates, stock levels, delivery delays and any other Lab stock issues that arise.
- Prepare and log interlab shipments for other Q2 sites ordering stock as required and providing Logistics the details of the shipments along with any related documentation required.
- Review stock system for non-moving stock or expired stock and follow discard procedures.
- Manage, coach and train Inventory Control Associates within the department in accordance with organization’s policies and applicable regulations, ensuring they are trained as per the department training matrix.
- Closely monitor the returned kits procedure is being followed and take responsibility in ensuring all returned kits are logged and dealt with promptly.
- Ensure the Housekeeping within the warehouse area is always kept tidy and presentable while being responsible for ensuring all stock is stored and labelled correctly.
- Produce monthly metrics to measure department performance.
- Recruit staff members as required working with HR and recruitment
- Deputize for other staff members as and when required.
- Perform any other duties as required as directly by superiors.
- Follow and enforce department SOPs.
Qualifications:
- Diploma in any discipline.
- Good knowledge in using Excel & PowerBI to analyze data is a must
- 3-4 years relevant experience including 1 year in a leadership capacity and/or equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
- Good organizational, communications, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers, managers and clients.
