We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Executive with strong engineering underwriting expertise and SME Property & Casualty (P&C)knowledge to join our Direct & Japanese Corporate team. This role is responsible for underwriting, portfolio management, and business development to drive profitable growth, while also mentoring junior staff and supporting operational improvements. Key Responsibilities:
- Underwriting & Portfolio Management: Review, evaluate, and approve engineering and SME P&C risks within delegated authority, ensuring alignment with underwriting guidelines, profitability targets, and risk appetite.
- Client & Business Development: Identify and cultivate new business opportunities, maintain and strengthen relationships with direct and Japanese corporate clients, and provide technical insurance advice to meet client needs.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Liaise with MSI Japan, MSIG Asia, overseas business units, and reinsurers to coordinate underwriting matters, claims, and policy wording recommendations.
- Staff Development: Supervise, mentor, and coach junior underwriters, enhancing their technical skills, product knowledge, and market understanding.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field.
