About the Role
As a Director, Insurance Partnerships within our Asia Insurance Team, you will lead the development and optimisation of CG’s partnerships with our insurer panel throughout Asia. The key goal is the effective placement of our business and optimisation of these partnerships in line with clear company KPIs and goals.
To drive success in this role, you will have a strong commercial acumen, a good understanding of General Insurance, a solid network of the primary insurance market and ideally experience in the Broking or MGA placement of risk. As the leader of the Insurance Partnerships function you will oversee our relationships with key insurance partners, negotiate on insurance and commercial terms and constantly drive to maximize our profit bottom line. Regular collaboration with CG’s Partnerships and Partner Services teams that generate and manage the accounts of CG’s distribution partners as well as third party insurers will be key in ensuring the most effective and timely placement of the business and the best commercial terms for CG’s Asia Insurance team are achieved.
Key Responsibilities:- Own the insurance carrier strategy and develop a strong and sustainable panel of insurance partners across the Asia region.
- Own the effective placement and ongoing operational management of CG business with these insurance partners within the prescribed timelines, including ownership of reporting, payments, due diligence, audits, etc
- Drive an innovative and disruptive culture within the business and with our partners and leading your team to ensure the highest standards of conduct are maintained
- Lead the negotiations of insurance contracts with the aim to maximise CG’s ‘insurance led margin’ while ensuring the longevity and stability of CG’s Asia Insurance partnerships
- Develop and own a Insurance Partner monitoring dashboards ensuring clear expectations, targets and results; focus on operational, compliance, performance and efficiency metrics
- Ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 8 years experience in the insurance market at a broker, insurer, Third-Party Administrator or MGA with a focus on partnerships and insurance placements
- Demonstrated ability to manage and motivate a high-performing team of insurance product/partnership and pricing professionals
- Track record in owning and developing insurance partnerships and ongoing portfolio management
- Experience in putting together concise pitch documents to support business placement or partner negotiations
- Ability to communicate complex ideas in a clear, concise manner both verbally and in writing
- Problem solving and advocating for customer solutions.
- Experience working in producing business in multiple markets around the world is an advantage
- Demonstrate experience in product entry strategies, product designs and growing revenue
- Experience managing and running affinity programs will be a plus

- Position : Sales Director (Insurance/Trust Planning/HNW) - Up to $12,000 + Commission
- Location : CBD – Robinson Road (Nearest MRT: Shenton Way & Tanjong Pagar)
- Working hours : Monday to Friday | 9am to 5.45pm (with 2 days Per Month)
- Salary (commensurate with experience) : Up to $12,000 Basic + Commission + Variable Bonus + 18-25 days annual leaves + Medical Benefits

Main Responsibilities:
- Maintain consistent engagement with clients and partners in developing robust and sustainable referral relationships
- Build up ongoing development of new client relationships to ensure a balanced referral source portfolio
- Provide professional and quality advice to clients on their liquidity planning and insurance needs
- Achieve annual target of net revenue or an amount agreed upon during the annual review
- Fulfill full compliance to our internal compliance policies as well as applicable regulatory requirements
- Submit new business documents timely and accurately
