Role Summary
Our client, an established global firm is seeking a strategic and experienced High-Net-Worth (HNW) Insurance Broker to drive growth and service excellence across the Southeast Asia (SEA) region. This is a high-impact opportunity for a professional with a consultative mindset and a deep understanding of wealth and risk management for private clients, family offices, and UHNW individuals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead client engagements and insurance structuring for HNW and UHNW individuals across key SEA markets
- Design cross-border insurance strategies for wealth preservation, estate planning, and business succession
- Collaborate with private banks, external legal/tax advisors, trustees, and internal teams to implement complex planning structures
- Serve as a technical subject-matter expert on UL and permanent life products, including premium financing options
- Build and maintain relationships with global insurers to access exclusive and tailored UL offerings
- Ensure full compliance with regional regulatory requirements and internal best practices
Requirements:
- 9+ years of experience in life insurance, wealth planning, private banking, or insurance brokerage serving HNW/UHNW clients
- Solid knowledge of Southeast Asia's HNW client landscape, including cultural, regulatory, and market dynamics
- Familiarity with cross-border estate planning, wealth structuring, and tax-efficient insurance solutions
- Strong stakeholder management skills with a collaborative and client-centric approach
- Relevant insurance or financial advisory licenses preferred (e.g., IBF, IIQE, or equivalent)

- This is a client-facing, mid-level sales role where you will be working to manage a portfolio of corporate clients for their corporate insurance needs and bring in new business from our existing client base and new enquiries or from developing new distribution channels
- You will primarily assist clients in advising on their insurance requirements, reviewing existing coverage, negotiating terms with various insurers, and assisting with claims or operational requests.
Key Responsibilities
- Your primary goal is to manage and grow your book of business by identifying potential insurance opportunities in your book of business and developing new distribution channels
- Your clients will mainly be technology, financial institutions, start-ups and small SMEs in Singapore
- Key insurance classes you will need to handle include Group Medical, SME Packages, Property, Product Liablity, Travel, Cargo, WICA and Bonds
- This is a client-facing role, and you are expected to be the key point of contact for your clients. You should be able to advise them on their current coverage and renewal dates, how to understand renewal insurance comparisons, their regulatory and contractual insurance requirements, appropriate coverage for their nature of business, and next steps when there is a claim.
- You are expected to be able to manage insurers directly to get coverage placed, including negotiating quotes with multiple insurers, doing up an accurate and detailed comparison of insurers' quotes, handling their queries for information, following up with them on any post-sales documentation and administrative processes, including claims or endorsements from clients
- As a licensed MAS GI broker, you need to ensure you meet all MAS compliance requirements
