Electrical and Instrumentation Design Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Electrical and Instrumentation Design Engineer to join our team. As an E&I Design Engineer, you will be responsible for creating detailed electrical and instrumentation designs for various projects.

• Prepare electrical and instrumentation design documents, including lighting design and calculation;


• Design and draft layouts, sections, and elevation drawings for earthing and lightning protection systems;


• Cable ladder, conduit, trunking, and cable routing design;


• Perform cable sizing calculations and prepare electrical cable schedules;


• Develop Fire Alarm, CCTV, Card Access, and Public Addressing system designs, including schematic and layout drawings;


• Prepare instrument location layout drawings and junction box termination drawings;


• Coordinate with internal design disciplines, such as Structure, Mechanical, and Piping teams, to resolve design interface issues;


• Attend 3D model reviews and coordinate with internal discipline engineers to resolve clashes;


• Support project tender teams with material take-off from client tender documents and attend factory inspections for E&I-related materials;


• Support construction sites with material purchase requests, vendor quotations, and material approval submissions.

• Degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering or equivalent;


• 3-5 years of relevant design experience;


• Hands-on experience with design software, such as AutoCAD and Navisworks Manage;


• Ability to support site testing and commissioning work.

Roles & Responsibilities:

1. Review of all geotechnical design drawings to ensure comply with relevant statutory standard, regulations and codes of practices.

2. Project coordination including submission to local authorities and liaison during the construction stage.

3. Co-ordinate with authorities, client and consultants

4. Evaluate subcontractor’s risk assessment, safe work procedures and method statements

5. Plan and execute geotechnical and instrumentation installation and monitoring works

Requirements and relevant experience are as below:

1. Bachelor’s / Master’s Degree of Civil Engineering or close discipline;

2. Minimum 5 years of experience in Geotechnical Engineering especially for LTA Project

3. Be well-aware of Geotechnical Design, Instrumentation & Monitoring process

4. Be well-aware of Underground Structure/Construction Sequences and related civil design works.

5. Be well-aware of Eurocode, LTA CDC, and relevant design specification/standards

* Candidates who has experience as Geotechnical engineer in D&B contractor side would be an advantage.

• Operate and monitor the Distributed Control System (DCS) to manage process parameters during startup, normal operations, and shutdown.

• Familiar with both international and local codes & standards.
• Knowledge of SP tools and SPPID, SPI, and SP3D is essential.

Responsible for the energy meter market and sales of HVAC BTU meters to industrial and commercial buildings, including familiarity with BCA Green Mark certification.
Selling and marketing a wide range of flow meters including electromagnetic, ultrasonic clamp-on, turbine, thermal mass, Coriolis, PD, variable area, vortex, loadcell-based, and radioactive-based conveyor belt flow meters, as well as flow switches.
Promoting flow computers, controllers, batch controllers, flow displays, process and digital panel meters, and alarm annunciators.
Marketing level measurement instruments such as magnetic level gauges, displacers, magnetostrictive and float-operated level transmitters, non-contact radar, guided-wave radar, ultrasonic level transmitters, capacitance & RF/admittance level transmitters, differential pressure (including bubbling DP) & immersion pressure level transmitters, radioactive level measurement devices, level switches, and sensors for overflow detection.
Selling pressure and temperature sensors with thermowells for use with flow computers and HVAC BTU meters.

Job Requirements:
