We are seeking a proactive ICT Project Officer to support day-to-day operations and ICT project rollouts. The role involves providing technical support, managing ICT assets and user accounts, coordinating vendors, and ensuring compliance with government standards.
- Provide technical support for operational events and business-as-usual ICT issues
- Troubleshoot network-related incidents and resolve user-reported problems
- Manage ICT equipment lifecycle, including inventory, asset tracking, and disposal
- Administer user accounts and inventory management systems
- Support mobile plans, subscriptions, and budgeting for ICT resources
- Work with vendors and internal stakeholders to deliver operational outcomes
- Ensure readiness and deployment of ICT systems
- Maintain network control centre/room
- Comply with SOPs and Whole-of-Government ICT policies
- Participate in audit, budgeting, and procurement-related activities
- Assist in project coordination and event planning

They will apply patches and updates to network devices to maintain enterprise-level security, address network vulnerabilities highlighted by the security team, and oversee renewals for networking devices and services.
Requirements:
- A diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, or similar is essential.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in deploying and managing networking-related projects is required.
- Network certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, and professional security certifications are desirable.
- Experience with Cisco Core Switches, Aruba networks, Fortinet Firewalls, Cisco Embedded Wireless Controller (EWC), and Access Points (APs) is necessary.
- Knowledge of Hyper-V VMs for network-related services: DHCP, MFA, and network monitoring systems, and Azure IaaS is beneficial.
- Collaboration with vendors on technology and services is essential.
