We are seeking an experienced Infrastructure & Automation Project Engineer with a proven track record in managing large projects to join our dynamic team.
The ideal candidate will possess exceptional project management skills along with expertise in capital expenditure (Capex) projects across various areas such as automation, warehouse space, greenfield development, and other related projects.
The Capex Project Engineer will play a pivotal role in meticulously planning, executing, and monitoring Capex projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and meet or exceed stakeholder expectations.
Responsibilities
Project Planning and Execution: Independently drive the end-to-end project management process for infrastructure and automation investments, including breaking down projects into manageable phases, defining key deliverables and milestones, and developing detailed project plans
Project Management: Establish clear project milestones and performance indicators, and implement robust tracking mechanisms to monitor progress against established timelines, budgets, and quality standards
Risk Management: Identify potential risks and challenges associated with Capex projects, and develop proactive risk mitigation strategies to minimize disruptions and ensure successful project outcomes
Vendor and Stakeholder Management: Manage vendors, suppliers, contractors, and other external stakeholders closely throughout the project lifecycle. Proactively identify bottlenecks and issues in vendor relationships and implement solutions to ensure milestones are met. Effectively problem-solve to resolve challenges and maintain positive working relationships with vendors
Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate project documentation, including project plans, schedules, budgets, and status reports, and provide regular updates to stakeholders to ensure transparency and accountability
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or related field. PMP certification is preferred
Experience in transportation, warehousing, and real estate is preferred, with a deep understanding of the complexities and dynamics of these industries
Proven experience in large project management, with a strong emphasis on breaking down complex projects into milestones and key deliverables and managing vendors relationships
Strong sense of ownership with demonstrated ability to be hands on and overcome implementation challenges
Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with a keen attention to detail and a results-oriented mindset
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders
Willingness to travel, as most projects are across markets in Southeast Asia
Bilingual in English and Mandarin to facilitate cross border discussions and collaborations with stakeholders from across the region
