Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

You will play a crucial role in (1) designing and delivering key grants and/or platforms to support youths and informal youth groups, (2) forging and maintaining relationships with diverse key stakeholders and (3) administering relevant grants to support youth ground-up initiatives.

Job Scope:

  • Grant Administration and Management

· Assess and administer grants to ground-up youth groups. This includes the applications and closures of grants, ensuring proper governance and accounting.

· Drive process developments and improvements to grants, such as YCM, and work with internal stakeholders to review key processes and implement appropriate changes to enhance overall experience.

· Perform data processing, management and reporting.

  • Partnership with Youths

· Propose new ways to grow and forge partnerships to encourage and enable youth action.

· Support youth-led ground-up projects by connecting them to relevant networks, amplification channels, mentors, grants and potential partners.

· Maintain relationships with the Young ChangeMakers (YCM) curators and co-deliver activities that increase the brand awareness of YCM.

· Coordinate and organise monthly YCM Open Mics.

Requirements:

· Flexibility and willingness to adapt to evolving needs of youths and dynamic environment.

· Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and inspire trust with young people and stakeholders.

· Good written and verbal communication skills, critical thinking and project management skill, with good ability in handling numbers.

· Team player who can also work independently with guidance.

· Experience working with youth and/or supporting ground-up initiatives will be advantageous.

· Availability to work on weekends when required.

What you will be working on:

We are looking for self-motivated individuals who value integrity, teamwork and take pride in going the extra mile to provide excellent service to stakeholders and the community.This individual should be a sport advocate through living an active lifestyle and staying active.In addition, an ideal candidate should possess the following:• At least 7 years of proven experience and/or track record in relevant areas.• Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills, and comfortable with engaging multiple and diverse stakeholders.• Excellent communication skills.• Meticulous, independent, organised, able to work under pressure and carry out work responsibilities with minimum supervision.The level of offer will commensurate with applicants’ experience and track records. Responsibilities
  • Grow and lead the strategic partnerships program including identification and commercial structuring of development partner opportunities to enable future data center capacity growth
  • Collaborate with key leaders across design, engineering, construction, network, and legal to develop the strategic plan needed to execute against the company’s aggressive capacity targets
  • Guide team members on overall strategic approach to developing new capacity while mitigating risk and ensuring that sufficient contingency plans are in place
  • Accountable for data center partners supply pipeline opportunities and delivering on capacity targets while minimizing cost and optimizing for flexibility and optionality
  • Represent Meta in meetings with executives from potential suppliers, governments, regulatory agencies, and other stakeholders
  • Recruit, on-board, and mentor internal staff and ensure robust learning and career development
  • Travel domestically and internationally as needed (25%+)
Minimum Qualifications
  • 12+ years of overall experience, including in industrial real estate, infrastructure and development space
  • Proven track record of delivering large scale multi-party deals resulting in data center capacity delivery
  • Proven commercial leadership and negotiation experience on multi-variable, complex deals involving scalable land, energy, and third party data center capacity
  • Proven track record of delivering large capital projects leveraging complex commercial structures
  • Experience developing the vision for a strategic partnership program including opening new markets internationally utilizing partnership structures
  • Strategic thinker with experience driving decision making in ambiguous environments with experience influencing executive stakeholders
  • Analytical problem-solving skills, experience being effective in a fast paced, hands-on work environment, and have a track record of success leading projects and developing complex solutions across multiple stakeholders
  • Effective collaborator and skilled cross-functional communicator
  • Demonstrated communication and presentation skills

Context of the role

This is a unique opportunity to be part of a commercial team driving partnership development globally. The Strategic Partnerships Lead role is expected to set up, strategise, grow and execute channel sales partnerships in the APAC-Middle East region, providing a clear direction to the leadership on how and where to accelerate growth in this space across our key markets.

With all the untapped potential in channel sales, Strategic Partnerships are a critical component to scale the overall go-to-market for the business, generate revenue, and create lasting partnerships. This is a business development role reporting to the Head of Strategic Partnerships in Europe with a clear revenue target to achieve. The person will need to have a strong executive presence, be target-driven, and have a passion and ownership to deliver numbers. This will be a hands-on role with deep involvement in execution, leading from the front.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop a strategic positioning of how Thunes can grow exponentially via indirect sale channels by executing commercial partnerships with key technology platforms
  • Drive the strategic partnership’s agenda for the APAC-ME regions, working with key stakeholders across the globe to achieve our objectives, including product, tech, sales etc
  • Develop new relationships with strategic players with the ultimate objective of agreeing on areas of mutual beneficial value between Thunes and potential partners
  • Structure and close commercial deals that will help Thunes to accelerate revenue growth and increased visibility
  • Develop and execute strategic and tactical account plans with specialist partners
  • Collaborate with the sales and product teams to identify opportunities to work with partners to maximise revenue and build deeper client relationships
  • Work closely with the product teams to evolve the value proposition, products, and platforms to meet client/market needs
  • Act as the liaison for partners, proactively identifying and solving partner and customer issues and challenges

Professional Experience/Qualifications

  • Bachelors or master’s degree in business, finance, IT, or related discipline
  • At least 5+ years of experience in a commercial setting, e.g., business development or partnership management
  • Deep understanding of cross-border payments, fintech, and enterprise tech ecosystem
  • Demonstrable track record of achieving/ exceeding commercial targets within a partnerships role
  • Would find working across a global remit exciting, this may also include decent amount of global travel
  • An exceptional communicator and influencer, leading with integrity to build long-standing relationships both internally and externally
  • Strategic yet hands-on – this is a senior position in which you will decide what to do as well as execute on it
  • Must possess a can-do, entrepreneurial drive, focusing on solving problems creatively with a high level of energy. This is critical both as a cultural fit and based on the nature of internal business growth plans
  • Proven ability to operate in a fast-paced and geographically diverse company
  • High flexibility to travel and cover multiple markets globally

**Summary:**
Meta designs, builds, leases, and operates the most innovative and efficient data centers in the world. Meta is seeking a leader for Site Selection Strategic Partnerships to develop Meta's global data center portfolio in line with the company's strategic objectives to advance our efforts around AI. This role has overall global responsibility for development of the data center strategic partnership program.
**Required Skills:**
Strategic Partnerships Leader Responsibilities:
1. Grow and lead the strategic partnerships program including identification and commercial structuring of development partner opportunities to enable future data center capacity growth
2. Collaborate with key leaders across design, engineering, construction, network, and legal to develop the strategic plan needed to execute against the company's aggressive capacity targets
3. Guide team members on overall strategic approach to developing new capacity while mitigating risk and ensuring that sufficient contingency plans are in place
4. Accountable for data center partners supply pipeline opportunities and delivering on capacity targets while minimizing cost and optimizing for flexibility and optionality
5. Represent Meta in meetings with executives from potential suppliers, governments, regulatory agencies, and other stakeholders
6. Recruit, on-board, and mentor internal staff and ensure robust learning and career development
7. Travel domestically and internationally as needed (25%+)

8. 12+ years of overall experience, including in industrial real estate, infrastructure and development space
9. Proven track record of delivering large scale multi-party deals resulting in data center capacity delivery
10. Proven commercial leadership and negotiation experience on multi-variable, complex deals involving scalable land, energy, and third party data center capacity
11. Proven track record of delivering large capital projects leveraging complex commercial structures
12. Experience developing the vision for a strategic partnership program including opening new markets internationally utilizing partnership structures
13. Strategic thinker with experience driving decision making in ambiguous environments with experience influencing executive stakeholders
14. Analytical problem-solving skills, experience being effective in a fast paced, hands-on work environment, and have a track record of success leading projects and developing complex solutions across multiple stakeholders
15. Effective collaborator and skilled cross-functional communicator
16. Demonstrated communication and presentation skills
17. Proven track record of organizational leadership, including leading larger organizations and scaling teams during growth cycles
18. Knowledgeable about and/or experience to quickly assess industry trends and headwinds, market opportunities, and the competitive landscape
19. Bachelor's degree in a directly related field, or equivalent practical experience
