Roles & Responsibilities

We are seeking a detail-oriented Accountant to oversee the financial operations of our retail and repair business. This role will manage daily bookkeeping, financial reporting, GST submissions, and internal controls, ensuring compliance with Singapore regulations and supporting management with accurate, timely financial data. You will work closely with the Director and Operations team to keep a tight control on cash flow, stock movement, and multi-outlet performance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Handle full set of accounts (AP, AR, GL, bank reconciliations).
  • Manage daily sales settlement from multiple outlets; reconcile POS with cash/credit collections.
  • Track inventory purchases, trade-in phone stock, and supplier payments.
  • Prepare monthly management accounts, P&L, and balance sheet.
  • Submit GST returns, liaise with IRAS, auditors, and tax agents.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards and statutory requirements.
  • Strengthen internal financial controls (cash handling, stock valuation, e-waste reporting).
  • Provide financial analysis and insights to support management decisions.
Requirements
  • Diploma/Degree in Accountancy, Finance, or related field.
  • At least 3–5 years' accounting experience (retail/service industry preferred).
  • Proficient in accounting software (Xero, QuickBooks, or equivalent) and Excel.
  • Familiar with GST reporting and Singapore tax regulations.
  • Strong attention to detail, good analytical skills, and ability to work independently.
  • Experience in multi-outlet or inventory-heavy businesses is an advantage.

Key Responsibilities
Design and prepare electrical drawings for control panels
Design and configure all types of control panels based on client specifications and industry standards.
Sizing of cables, CB, and other components for control panels
Instructing technicians on assembling control panels ( HVAC & ACMV Control Panels )
Supervising and instructing technicians during offsite maintenance or repairs of control panels
Able to troubleshoot and repair electrical faults in control systems
Program and configure VSD, VFD, temperature controller, and other devices
Managing and organizing the equipment and inventory on the shop floor
Main Area to Develop
Carry out integration and commissioning of various instrumentation and control systems for commercial projects. Perform programming and integration of the control system, designing the control panel and subpanels as well as generating the I/O list.
Carry out engineering, PLC and SCADA software interface programming. Develop process functional design including control write-up and control schematics. Develop hardware and software design specifications and other software/test documentation.
Carry out diagnosis and resolution of electrical, instrumentation and control systems. Must be able to multitask, work with pressure and deliver within a tight schedule and ensure on-time completion of commissioning activities. Job Requirements:
Experienced in PLC control program design and implementation in industrial or marine automation, and process automation. Technical knowledge and hands-on programming skills of some PLS brands. Technical knowledge and hands-on programming skills in some SCADA software.
A resourceful individual with good organisation, time management and problem-solving skills. A team player and the same time able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
