We are seeking an experienced Senior Layout Design Engineer to join our team and contribute to the development of advanced test chips for new technology advancements.
The successful candidate will be responsible for defining and leading sub-teams in full-scale test chip development, providing custom layout design for Memory SRAM NVM I/O Cell Analog Macro Layout Design, and developing new/sophisticated EDA codes automation. They will also ensure the successful accomplishment of projects and provide technical support/guidance to other engineers as required.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's/Master's degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Computer Science, or Physics
- Experience in wafer fabrication IC Mask design environment preferred
- Semiconductor Physics CMOS Device knowledge essential
- Programming skills circuit Design background plus
- At least 13 years of relevant experience

Responsibilities
Design and develop semiconductor packaging layouts in accordance with customer specifications and requirements.
Review technical specifications to ensure compliance with in-house and vendor design guidelines.
Perform layout designs, feasibility studies, and design modifications, verifying drawings against project inputs for accuracy and conformance to industry standards.
Collaborate effectively with customers, Technical Program Managers, Sales teams, Designers, and Assembly Engineers across different UTAC sites to ensure seamless project execution.

- Be the creative lead for all design needs across Triple P and The Working Capitol — from wayfinding and member signage to campaign artwork and spatial graphics.
- Serve as a design custodian, ensuring visual consistency across platforms and spaces.
- Create visuals that span digital and physical touchpoints — including facade proposals, event posters, interior branding, and community materials.
