- Coordinate with shipping lines and freight forwarders to arrange container transshipments and confirm vessel schedules for barge connections
Key Responsibilities:
- Submit Bill of Lading drafts to shipping lines or freight forwarders and print original Bills of Lading via online platforms
- Apply for and process various permits using Tradeweb and handle back-to-back Certificate of Origin applications
- Submit complete documentation packages to banks for DIP, D/A, and L/C transactions
- Scan and file documents into the in-house server system
- Prepare local delivery documents and liaise with clients to coordinate delivery arrangements
- Coordinate with the warehouse on goods collection and delivery logistics
- Monitor shipping line nominations for transshipment containers and update import container records in the in-house system
- Coordinate with transporters for LCL clearances from ports to clients' warehouses and assign transportation jobs as needed
