    As a Shipping Assistant, you will be responsible for managing all import/export documentation for sea and air freight, including the preparation of required shipping paperwork.

    • Manage all import/export documentation for sea and air freight
    • Prepare invoices, permits, and arrange cargo insurance as needed
    • Liaise with clients for certificate applications and related documentation
    • Coordinate with shipping lines and freight forwarders to arrange container transshipments and confirm vessel schedules for barge connections

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Submit Bill of Lading drafts to shipping lines or freight forwarders and print original Bills of Lading via online platforms
    • Apply for and process various permits using Tradeweb and handle back-to-back Certificate of Origin applications
    • Submit complete documentation packages to banks for DIP, D/A, and L/C transactions
    • Scan and file documents into the in-house server system
    • Prepare local delivery documents and liaise with clients to coordinate delivery arrangements
