The Product Applications Specialist will support our Materials and Structural Analysis Division and be part of the VDS Data-to-Results (D2R) Strategic Unit.

This includes advanced visualization and analysis SW for understanding 2D-5D bioimaging sample and materials structures and properties; 3D visualization and image analysis toolkit and collaborative imaging data management platform for traceability of image-based scientific experiments.

We are looking for a Product Applications Specialist to join our team. A professional that can contribute new insights, build and present solutions to our customers in various fields within academic, commercial and government accounts.
As a Product Applications Specialist, you will build and maintain the relationship with other organizations primarily in Semiconductor, Materials Research and Life Sciences domains. You as a candidate will be primarily responsible for supporting the sales team and our NanoPort, in charge of the software business.
What you will do:

The role primarily involves performing dual-energy X-ray absorptiometry (DXA) scans on research participants within a health screening centre.

RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Obtain consent from research participants and perform health assessments including anthropometry, blood pressure measurement and ECG.
2. (Upon completion of training) Perform bone densitometry and whole body composition scans on 20 participants per health screening session, keeping to the turnaround time per participant for that procedure.
3. Review images and perform data entry accurately, noting any observation of anomalies.
4. Analyse images and upload to the research database.
5. Perform regular quality control and calibration procedures and maintenance of equipment.
6. Update the inventory of consumables.
7. Ensure the safety and protect the privacy of research participants by adhering to best practices. Reporting of incidents, complaints or adverse events.

Qualifications
  • Diploma in life or health sciences and minimum 2 years of any work experience, or degree in life or health sciences.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in healthcare, computer science, business or related fieldor a related field.
  • At least 8 years of relevant working experience, preferably in a hospital setting.
  • Ability to work in a fast paced and dynamic work environment, quick thinker and an effective problem solver. Calm, decisive, and resilient in high-pressure situations.
  • Attention to detail, ability to prioritise workload, be well organised and multi-task in a smart and timely fashion.

We are seeking an experienced and innovative professional to lead the setup and implementation of Picture Archiving Communication System (PACS), Radiology Information System (RIS) and related clinical systems for our new radiology department. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, deploying, and managing the entire radiology informatics infrastructure from the ground up. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, project management skills, and a deep understanding of radiology workflows and emerging technologies.


Job Responsibilities:
