  • Have 3 years of work experience in interior design with an education in interior design major.
  • Computer proficient with knowledge and experience of using relevant software (e.g. AutoCad).
  • A passion for home furnishing, retailing, design and how people live at home.
  • Able to draw, visualise and present ideas. Good attention to detail and practical hands-on approach to work.
  • Ability to work in a fast retail and goal-based environment.
  • Able to use commercial and visual competence through a keen eye for aesthetics to capitalise on short and long term business opportunities.

Reporting to the Goods Flow Team Manager, you will be responsible for the goods flow process in eCommerce in IKEA Tampines; ensuring the most efficient, commercial and safe way possible to provide a good shopping experience for our customers.

Your assignment

  • You will be responsible for the picking of articles in the warehouse and shop floor for online and store customers, ensuring there is no backlogs in order to meet the delivery schedules
  • You will perform inventory checks and ensure data integrity and the highest stocks availability for customers
  • You will adhere to quality, security and safety service standards and comply with procedures, rules and regulations

Job Description
About the job
Reporting to the Goods Flow Team Manager, you will be responsible for the goods flow process in eCommerce in IKEA Tampines; ensuring the most efficient, commercial and safe way possible to provide a good shopping experience for our customers.
Your assignment

  • You will be responsible for the picking of articles in the warehouse and shop floor for online and store customers, ensuring there is no backlogs in order to meet the delivery schedules
  • You will perform inventory checks and ensure data integrity and the highest stocks availability for customers
  • You will adhere to quality, security and safety service standards and comply with procedures, rules and regulations
  • You will ensure the warehouse is clean and safe for work
  • You may be required to operate pallet jack to move heavy articles
Qualifications
Your profile
  • You are able to work under pressure in a fast paced and dynamic warehouse logistics environment
  • You are energetic and physically fit and enjoy hands on physical work
  • You are customer service oriented and a team player who is motivated and committed with a strong sense of responsibility
  • You are pc literate and have basic knowledge in software
  • You are able to commit to at least 20 working hours per week on rotating shifts including on weekends and public holidays

  • FT Rate: From $2,100 per month (5 Days/8 hours)

About the Job:

  • Perform tasks requiring prolonged standing
  • Ensure compliance with Food Safety and Hygiene practices
  • Attend to customers’ needs and requests pleasantly
  • Maintain products in perfect condition and correctly priced
  • Uphold cleanliness and hygiene standards
  • Experience in fast food/café cashiering and manual chores preferred
  • Support rotating shifts and peak periods, including public holidays and weekends
