EHS Standards & Policy:

Digitisation:

Training:
- Plan and implement regular EHS training programmes for staff, workers, and subcontractors.
- Maintain comprehensive EHS training records in coordination with the HR department.
- Ensure that all new site personnel are properly briefed on relevant EHS regulations and requirements.
Support:
- Represent the company in industry and safety-related groups, and at stakeholder meetings relating to EHS.
- Organise EHS-related initiatives such as campaigns and awards to promote a strong safety culture.
Communication:
- Maintain open communication with Corporate Management and Project Managers to align EHS directions with project operations.
- Proactively identify and highlight potential conflicts between EHS regulations and site operations for resolution with relevant stakeholders.
Requirements
- Preferably a Registered Professional Engineer (Civil) with the PE Board (with a valid PE Practising Certificate).
- Candidate must possess at least a Professional Degree Certificate, Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Civil / Structural) or equivalent.
- Minimum 12 years of EHS experience in the construction field, with at least 7 years in a managerial capacity for building projects.
- Strong all-rounded knowledge in EHS management (e.g. ISO9001, ISO14001 & OHSAS 18001), EHS regulations, and planning capabilities to support construction progress and operations in Singapore.
- Good experience in environmental and OSHA compliance, sustainability, risk assessment and reduction, occupational health and safety, and industrial hygiene is essential.
- Possess excellent communication skills to articulate and share vision, goals, plans, strategies, and values to influence the team in achieving desired objectives.
