• Equipment and material received, storage, and preservation control

The successful candidate will be responsible for initiating and promoting safety programs, including monthly safety committee meetings and JSA meetings. They will also be familiar with HVAC offshore/marine regulations and rules, such as SOLAS, ABS, DNV, NORSOK ASHRAE, ISO 7547, 8861 etc.

In addition, they will prepare cooling load calculations, ventilation system designs, air conditioning designs, pressure drop calculations, duct sizing, grille/diffuser sizing, material take-offs, and ensure that the HVAC system design and equipment selection comply with client specifications, class regulations, and hazardous area classifications.

The role also involves submitting HVAC/architectural design documents and drawings for class approval, conducting technical submissions (drawings and documents) checking and revision control, preparing technical specifications, and technical bid evaluations.
