Summary:

To support our continuing growth in Asia Pacific, Meta is seeking an experienced and strategic HR Leader with an organization development orientation to join our global people team as HR Director for the Asia Pacific region. In this role, you will contribute at both hands-on and strategic levels to cultivate an amazing and innovative environment and will bring thought leadership and creative solutions to a growing organization.As HR Director, you will also bring a highly analytical mind and extensive business context to deliver the right HR solutions across multiple different functions to evolve the organization through transformational work and will collaborate across the People function to deliver our growth strategies.The ideal candidate will be a highly strategic operator with the stature and leadership skills to lead across the APAC business and the HRBP team globally as a key member of the leadership team. They will have a successful and progressively responsible leadership track record in reputable companies across APAC.

Required Skills:

HR Director, APAC Responsibilities:

  1. Provide organizational leadership for the People function and HRBP team

  2. Partner with business and functional HR leaders across Asia Pacific and globally to develop and lead an effective People strategy for Meta in the region, and ensure the delivery of innovative organizational development solutions and first class HR services in all our APAC locations

  3. Lead the delivery of the company’s people practices including talent assessment and planning, organization design and development, performance management, development, and contribute as a global HR leader to the ongoing development of these practices

  4. Use data insights to make evidence-based people decisions for attraction, performance, and engagement

  5. Provide direct support and coaching to the APAC leadership team, and work closely with each of them and their respective teams as a trusted partner, bringing insight and advice relating to people, teams and the development of their organizations as they scale

  6. Together with business leaders create a practice which is open and connected and which expects the highest standard of behavior and ethical conduct throughout our company

  7. Provide leadership in development, execution and facilitation of employee relations efforts

  8. Lead the APAC HR Business Partner team, developing market leading HR professionals and careers by creating an environment that stimulates creativity and supports their ongoing development

  9. Provide global leadership to deliver against the people needs of the company

  10. Partner with Mergers &Acquisitions (M&A) Integration team on strategic investments/integrations

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. 15+ years of experience as an HR Leader/business-facing role working at both a strategic and executional level

  2. Proven track record as a people manager and organizational leader overseeing APAC, with business acumen and experience understanding strategic organizational issues

  3. Track record of solid judgment and experience assessing risk relative to the business

  4. Experience operating in a large, global matrix organization, and cultivating relationships globally

  5. Demonstrated communication and critical thinking skills applied at all levels of the organization

  6. Track record of growing and leading a high-performing and experienced team

  7. Experience using data to identify insights that drive action

  8. Experience influencing and strategically solving problems

  9. Demonstrated consulting, coaching and facilitation skills
