Main Role:

Purpose of this role:
The purpose of this role is to support our client corporation and all its business units, including overseas projects, to meet the requirements of the company's Health, Safety, Security and Environmental (HSSE) management system and corporate HSSE standards. The HSE Advisor advises on improvement opportunities and devises suitable improvement action plans in collaboration with the HSE Control Team. The HSE Advisor supports the continual improvement process of the corporation and projects in line with applicable standards. The HSE Advisor helps identify corporate and project HSSE risks and opportunities and advises on risk treatment solutions.
Requirements (Qualifications and Work Experience):
Technical Qualifications (minimum requirements):
• Internationally recognized Diploma (Level 6 or higher) HSE Qualification. Examples:
§ NEBOSH Diploma/International Diploma
§ British Safety Council Diploma in Occupational Safety & Health
§ Postgraduate Certificate/Diploma/MSc in an HSE Discipline
• Internationally recognized OHS or EMS Lead Auditor Qualification, i.e., ISO 45001 OHSMS, OHSAS 18001 OHSMS, ISO 14001 EMS.
• Internationally recognized Root Cause Analysis/Incident Investigation Qualification (TapRooT preferred).
Work Experience:
• 10 to 15 years of relevant work experience in HSE , with a strong focus on managing HSE systems, procedures, and programs and managing HSE personnel.
Others:
• Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.
• The candidate should be independent, self-motivated, result driven and have a good sense of team working skills.
• Adaptable to fast paced work environment, able to work under pressure, able to finish assigned work on time.
