They are hiring an MEP Manager to oversee mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems for hospitality projects, ensuring compliance, coordination, and timely delivery. Experience in large‐scale or hotel developments is preferred.
Key Responsibilities
Report directly to the Senior Director (Engineering) while leading an engineering team of 8–9 members in an in‐charge role and managing contractors as well as consultancies across the APAC region.
Provide Technical Services Advisory to ensure adherence to Design Brand Standards for new‐build, conversion, re‐branding and refurbishment projects from the design stage through to hotel opening.
Prepare engineering services briefs for new project, review and comment on consultant’s designs for efficiency, appropriateness in design and operational issues.
Provide engineering input/advice for due diligence process on potential new/conversion and/or renovation of existing hotels and conduct pre‐opening reviews relative to Brand Standards.
Conduct regular and periodic site visits to assigned projects for the purposes of ensuring compliance with Brand Standards.
Conduct technical inspections as required of potential or existing properties and complete Property Improvement Plans (PIPs).
Review design and construction standards periodically and contribute to the process of maintaining the Brand Standards in line with the sustainable technologies.
Provide advice and direction to Hotel’s DOEs on Standards and Procedures, Fire, Life & Safety and Environment issues.
Identify, develop, document and implement sustainability initiatives related to decarbonisation, waste management, energy and water efficiency efforts.
Requirements
8–12 years’ experience in consultancy or hotel technical services; hospitality experience preferred.
Recognised professional qualifications in mechanical, electrical engineering, or related discipline.
Familiar with sustainability programs like Green Mark, LEED, EarthCheck.
Experience in energy and sustainability technology implementation is a plus.
Strong knowledge of MEP design, construction standards, and brand compliance.
Proactive, hands‐on leader and team player.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Able to work independently under pressure and meet deadlines.
Passionate about sustainability, ESG, and process implementation.
Detail‐oriented with good understanding of construction and technical practices.
