As a Maintenance Professional, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our hotel's facilities and equipment. Your primary focus will be on carrying out daily maintenance tasks, identifying potential issues before they become major problems, and resolving any technical difficulties that may arise.
Responsibilities- Carry out routine checks on all hotel facilities and equipment to identify any potential issues or areas for improvement
- Perform maintenance tasks as required, including plumbing, electrical work, and HVAC repairs
- Source quotations for spare parts and repair work, and ensure that all necessary work is carried out in a timely and efficient manner
- Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities, including logs of faults and repairs
- Ensure that all fire safety regulations are complied with, and that all fire fighting facilities and equipment are in good working order
- Schedule and coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance, ensuring that all necessary work is carried out on time
- Take on small renovation projects, such as painting and decorating, to maintain the overall appearance of the hotel
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure that all maintenance activities are aligned with business objectives
- A minimum of 3-4 years' experience in a similar role, preferably in a hotel or facilities management setting
- An ITE/Nitec certificate in Building Facilities Maintenance, Electrical/Electronics, or Air Conditioning Servicing
- Strong technical knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems
- A positive and helpful attitude towards colleagues and guests
