Responsibilities
Senior Vet Nurse
- Evaluate and manage the admission process for new pets and animals.
- Assist emergency veterinarians with treatment and care of hospitalized animals.
- Oversee and monitor the condition of critically ill animals.
- Perform radiographic imaging (X-rays) as required.
- Safely restrain animals during examinations and treatments.
- Prepare patients for surgery and manage post-operative care, including bandaging and recovery.
- Communicate clearly and professionally with clients regarding their pets' condition and care.

- Lead and manage the veterinary nursing team to ensure high standards of patient care and clinical operations
- Coordinate with Specialists, Veterinarians, and the COO to support smooth hospital operations
- Oversee nursing operations for both the Emergency & Critical Care (ECC) department and other clinical departments
Work 4 days a week on a rotational schedule
3 days in the ECC department (including weekends and public holidays if needed), from 7 AM to 7 PM
- 1 operational day per week with the COO to improve processes, from 9 AM to 6 PM (fixed day)
- Balance patient care priorities with hospital financial goals
Requirements
- Diploma or degree in Veterinary Technology or related field.
- Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in a veterinary clinic or hospital setting.
- Skilled in anesthesia monitoring, emergency care, and post-operative recovery.
