In this position you will join our Infrastructure business, where you will play an integral part in a team of highly skilled specialists that ‘bring ideas to life’ for our clients across all types of infrastructure projects.

1. Provide comprehensive design services to clients, including preliminary & detailed design of civil works including roads, alignment, drainage, sewerage, utilities, etc. for infrastructure and building projects, and be able to deliver solutions to complex problems.
2. Write, consolidate, and review technical reports of infrastructure projects and studies.
3. Prepare detailed design reports and presentations to clients.
4. Possess initiative to resolve tasks or problems that arise during design and construction stages.
5. Ensure compliance with Project Design Criteria/Client Brief/ Approved Concept, as well as relevant design standards and office standards.

1. Recognized Civil Engineering qualification or related field (Bachelor/ Master’s degree).
2. Minimum 4 to 9 years of professional design experience in the field of civil works design, including roads, alignment, drainage, sewerage, utilities, etc. Candidates with structural and/or geotechnical design experiences will be advantageous.
3. Sound understanding and knowledge of civil related regulations, standards, and reference of design – such as Euro Design Codes, Singapore Standards and Codes of Practice, and statutory requirements (LTA, BCA, PUB etc.), with hands-on experience in usage of Civil Engineering Software.
4. Excellent technical writing and presentation skills.
5. Energetic, proactive, and reliable team player with excellent communication and project coordination skills.

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Civil Engineer to support the engineering design and execution of onshore industrial facilities such as oil refineries, petrochemical, and chemical plants. The ideal candidate will be responsible for producing structural calculations, reviewing civil drawings, and ensuring alignment with project specifications and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare foundation, structural, and hydraulic design calculations.
• Ensure accuracy in load calculations and structural sizing per specifications.
• Support the development of 3D models and shop drawings.
• Generate anchor bolt and setting bolt lists for procurement.
• Provide clear technical data and guidance to designers.
• Review and validate design drawings for compliance and constructability.
• Work in project teams for FEED/EPC scopes.
• Assist with field engineering and site issue resolution.
• Perform other duties assigned by the manager.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering.

• Perform Civil/Structure engineering design works
• Liaise with Clients, Consultants and Authorities for management of project
• Responsible for on-site technical / engineering / administrative matters
• Involve in project planning, implementation, and close monitoring of projects
• Review the relevant standards and test requirements before commencement of the jobs
• Organize and provide staffing, equipment and materials for testing
• Manage and minimize operations costs (e.g. manpower, maintenance of equipment, overtime, etc)
• Recommend or propose solutions for new testing scope requested by stakeholders for management decision making
• Manage and supervise the administration works
• Check and ensure the completed test reports are signed by authorized approved signatory

• Diploma in Civil Engineering
• 3 years of relevant experience, preferably in Construction, Marine, Process and Engineering Sector

• We’re looking for someone with:
• A minimum of 3 years (post-tertiary education) of relevant experience in Civil Engineering, with a focus on designing roads, utilities, and paving elements in a consulting business environment.
• At least 1 year of experience delivering land development projects from pre-concept design to the site phase for clients such as Local
• Government Authorities and/or Private Developers.
• Preferably, 1 year of on-site experience during construction phases.
