NIE invites applications to join us as Executive/Senior Executive to assist with academic administrative matters managed by the Office of Academic Administration and Services.
Responsibilities
The Executive/Senior Executive will provide administrative support to the department in the following areas:
Undertake course registration of Diploma and Degree programmes.
Support NIE centralized written examinations and administer award and prizes.
Process semestral results and appeals on review of course results.
Assist in organizing graduation ceremonies.
Coordinate and manage the exercise for issuance of diplomas, transcripts and academic gowns.
Maintain records and compile statistics.
Perform User Acceptance Tests on institute’s new Student Management System.
Support departmental activities and carry out other tasks that are assigned from time to time.
Requirements
A Polytechnic Diploma. Candidates with Information Technology background is advantageous.
At least 4 years of relevant working experience in education institutions, particularly in the area of examination administration.
Meticulous, strong organisational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to prioritize work, meet deadlines and produce quality results on time with attention to details.
Good written and oral communication skills.
Good interpersonal skills and works well with prospective students, students, and academic staff.
Ability to work independently and effectively in a team.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications especially Excel.
