The Banker is an experienced level position responsible for assisting clients in raising funds in the capital markets, as well as in providing strategic advisory services for mergers, acquisitions and other types of financial transactions in the Healthcare sector in coordination with the broader Investment Banking team. The VP Banker will work on a variety of strategic transactions for leading and emerging healthcare services, biopharma and medtech companies across Asia Pacific. The overall objective of this role is to act as a strategic advisor to our clients by formulating investment strategies and raising capital for clients.
Responsibilities:
- Assume significant levels of responsibility for the various phases of project and transaction execution, new business development and overall growth of the firm
- Work closely with clients on financing transactions and guide them through the capital raising process, including leading due diligence and drafting sessions and preparing them for an equity or debt offering
- Work with clients, senior-level team members and outside professional advisors on M&A and special situation transactions
- Responsible for drafting situation analyses, pitch materials, information memoranda, investor and management presentations and oversee work being performed by analysts & associates assigned to projects
- 5 -10 years of relevant experience; with at least 50% Healthcare Investment Banking experience preferred
- Experience in the Financial Services industry, specifically within Banking
- Degree in Finance or closely related areas of Business Administration
- Top academic performance with comfort operating in an unstructured environment which values initiative, creativity, and maturity
- Comprehensive knowledge of the corporate banking business and its related products, pertinent regulations and lending and credit approval processes
- Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with ability to manage a variety of transactions and projects simultaneously
- Experience with large corporate clients, capital markets products, derivatives, credit, cash management, trade, finance and securities products

Broad Function
To provide support to the BME Head in managing medical equipment maintenance services, preparation of specifications for ITQ/RFP, evaluation of ITQ/RFP and commissioning of new medical equipment, including breakdown/preventive maintenance, managing medical equipment safety and de-commissioning of medical equipment.
Responsibilities
- Assist the BME Head in achieving the service goals, targets and department Key Performance Indicators. Update and monitor performance indicators under his/her responsibility.
- Manage maintenance agreements with vendors for the servicing and preventive maintenance of medical equipment. Monitor the PM program to ensure minimal disruption to operations and that medical equipment is safe for use at all times. Advise or provide training to users on proper handling of medical equipment.
- Prepare medical equipment specifications for ITQ/RFP, evaluate ITQ/RFP submissions and provide recommendations based on technical compliance.
- Plan, supervise and coordinate the various programs for Senior Associate Engineers/Associate Engineers/Engineering Assistants in the commissioning, breakdown and preventive maintenance, inventory updating and de-commissioning of medical equipment.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly reports, annual capital and operating budgets for the department.
- Ensure BME work activities conform to standards and work practices that the hospital subscribes to - ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001, JCI, etc.
- Support and assist BME Head in coordinating services for medical equipment projects together with DevSec, Consultant, vendors, contractors and appropriate authorities.
Requirements
