Responsibilities

• Enter prescription information including but not limited to: patient searches, prescriber searches, drug selection, prescription interpretation, insurance billing, and basic documentation.
• Dispense medicine when needed
• Accept customer and prescription information required to process new and refill prescriptions, including refill authorization from doctor offices.
• Retrieve medication from inventory.
• Create prescription labels and put them on prescription containers.
• Place medication into prescription containers.
• Complete paperwork related to filling prescriptions and input customer and prescription data into the computer.
• Assist with maintaining the Pharmacy department by keeping it clean and in order.
• Assist in inventory management processes including order review, inventory returns, restocking shelves, and physical inventory preparation.

Requirements

• Min Dip in Pharmaceutical Science / Pharmaceutical Chemistry / Other relevant certification

What you'll be doing

• Provide technical support for the setup, operation, and maintenance of medical equipment
• Supervise vendors and contractors to ensure compliance with hospital standards
• Investigate equipment faults and assist in implementing corrective actions
• Collect feedback from users on equipment performance and maintenance
• Maintain accurate documentation and assist in stock and spares management
• Support project coordination and equipment commissioning activities

What we're looking for

• Diploma in Biomedical Engineering/ Electronics or related studies
• 1 - 3 years of experience in a healthcare setting is an advantage
• Good communication and analytical skills
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
