What You Will Do

· Manage clinical information system projects and work collaboratively with stakeholders to develop and implement solutions that meet user requirements for clinical orders, medication administration and documentation

· Develop and maintain training materials and provide training for users in clinical IT systems

· Ensure that the policies and procedures related to our electronic medical records system are updated and aligned with both cluster and national policy and guidelines

· Transform healthcare workflows using AI, RPA, Power Platform, M365 apps and other digital tools to create efficient, user-friendly solutions

· Bridge the gap between healthcare professionals and technology, ensuring our solutions align with clinical needs and improve patient care delivery

· Provide support for workgroups and committees at an institution or cluster-level, as necessary

Bonus Points If You Have

· Experience in healthcare settings, clinical information systems or successful automation projects using digital tools

· Hands-on experience with automation, AI, RPA, Power Platform, M365 apps and other digital tools (or the drive to learn quickly)

· IT project management experience

We seek a senior assistant manager to collaborate with clinical leads and planning teams to support informatics requirements for ongoing operations and development of new services and capabilities, while promoting patient safety and enhancing productivity.

Your responsibilities will include aligning informatics needs with hospital services and operational plans, coordinating workflow simulations, facilitating procurement and resourcing for assigned projects, and supporting operational readiness, activation, and transition (ORAT) plans.

You will also facilitate coordination meetings with project stakeholders and provide regular reports to the Hospital Planning Committee.

Responsibilities:

• Gather requirements, design, test, and deploy ICT solutions and technologies.
• Lead IT-related projects, including scoping, solution presentation, and implementation.
• Interface with customer IT departments and technical staff to align ICT solutions with the customer environment (network diagrams, hardware/software specifications, IT security, etc.).

• Strong knowledge of hardware/software configurations for servers, virtual machines, networks, and cloud solutions.
• Knowledgeable in IT processes, IT security, server/workstation hardening, and patch management.
