Requirements:

  • Bachelor's, Master's or PhD in Health Services Research, Systems Engineering, Computational Statistics, Business Analytics, Public Health, or related disciplines

The group develops, advances, and applies state-of-the-art multi-scale atmospheric models, along with cutting-edge measurement and statistical approaches, to unravel the mechanisms driving climate–air quality interactions and to assess their impacts on human health and ecosystems.Key research areas include examining the air quality impacts of sectoral emissions and transboundary air pollution across multiple spatial scales, exploring regional climate change driven by land-use transitions and global climate change, and quantifying the health effects of air pollution on respiratory and cardiovascular diseases. The group also evaluates emission control and mitigation scenarios to provide science-based policy recommendations for a sustainable environment and healthier populations in the present and future.**Key Responsibilities:**The position is required to improve understanding of pollutant sensitivity to emission sources, climate-driven changes in pollutant dynamics, and associated health impacts by developing and applying deep-learning approaches to enhance air quality predictions and long-term projections under diverse climate and emission scenarios. Assistant / Associate Professor (Tenure-track) - One Health or Veterinary Science at Nanyang Technological University Singapore
NTU Singapore is a research-intensive public university. The School of Biological Sciences at NTU seeks outstanding candidates for a tenure-track position at the level of Assistant/Associate Professor with a research focus in One Health and/or Veterinary Sciences. The role emphasizes research integration across biological sciences with veterinary or One Health approaches, and is supported by a collaborative environment and core facilities across NTU.
Requirements
The successful candidate will be expected to develop and maintain a vigorous, externally funded research program in One Health and/or Veterinary Sciences.
Demonstrate research excellence through high-impact publications and/or translational outcomes.
Contribute to undergraduate and graduate teaching in biological sciences, veterinary sciences, and/or One Health-related topics.
Supervise research students and mentor junior faculty, as appropriate.
Collaborate effectively across disciplines within the School and with external stakeholders in academia, industry, and government.
Participate in departmental, school, and university service activities.
Qualifications
Ph.D., D.V.M./V.M.D., or equivalent doctoral degree in Biological Sciences, Veterinary Medicine, One Health, or a related field.
A strong research track record in areas such as host–pathogen interactions, zoonotic diseases, veterinary infectious diseases, or comparative biomedical research.
Experience with molecular, cellular, and/or systems biology approaches relevant to animal and human health.
Evidence of independent research capability and potential to secure competitive research funding.
A commitment to teaching excellence at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
For Associate Professor applicants: demonstrated academic leadership, sustained research productivity, and a proven record of mentoring and educational contribution.
