What the role is:

Job Description Summary
You will be a part of HPB’s Marketing Team who develops and implements national level campaigns and a range of initiatives such as mental health awareness, school-based outreach, community outreach, ethnic group engagement and parent engagement.

The successful candidate will manage the development and implementation of above-the-line, below-the-line, digital marketing, content and media strategies, as well as development and management of key webpages as part of integrated marketing campaigns to promote the adoption of healthy lifestyle habits amongst Singaporean parents.

Developing a marketing comms framework and 360 integrated marketing plans including above-the-line, below-the-line and always-on presence, as well as complementing on-ground activations to educate and activate the target audience;

  • Managing internal and external stakeholders to drive alignment and collaboration in formulating marketing strategies for the promotion and uptake of HPB’s health promoting programmes, anchoring the strategy formulation on data and insights, to contribute to programme KPIs;
  • Managing appointed creative, media, event management agencies and other vendors to ensure timely delivery of quality and innovative campaigns for the targeted audience;
  • End-to-end content development and management of Parent related HPB webpages and platforms
  • Social media community management including moderation and replies to comments, organisation of social media contents, management of user generated content;
  • Optimising brand recognition, user experience and awareness of marketing initiatives among target audience;
  • Planning, monitoring and managing campaign budgets to ensure cost effectiveness, achievement of campaign deliverables and improvement in marketing ROI;
  • Monitoring, evaluating and reporting campaign performance, providing analytical and strategic assessments, for continuous improvement;
  • Performing administrative duties including procurement, budget monitoring, financial duties, business review of agencies/vendors, etc.

Requirements

The ideal candidate is a highly driven and experienced 360-marketer with a flair for creativity. He/ She should possess:

  • Relevant qualifications in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications or its equivalent
  • Minimum 6 years of proven track record in managing and executing integrated communications, marketing, branding, and event management in a B2C environment;
  • Experience in communication/outreach to parents would be an advantage
  • Proficient in English and a second language
  • Team player with ability to multi-task and succeed in a fast-paced matrix environment;
  • Able to design and create creative content proficiently
  • Familiar with digital marketing and website building
  • Familiar with social media community management
  • Excellent communications (spoken and written) and presentation skills to present and interact confidently across the organisation and with external stakeholders;
  • Strong project and interpersonal management skills;

(What the role is)

(What we are looking for)

  • Minimum tertiary qualifications in recognised disciplines, preferably in Public Health, Health Information Management, Social Sciences, or a related field
  • Knowledge of the healthcare landscape in Singapore, particularly in HIV, hepatitis C, and STI management, would be advantageous
  • Experience in public health programme management, stakeholder engagement, or related areas would also be advantageous
  • Ability to navigate the complexities of public health initiatives, including managing multiple projects, engaging with diverse stakeholders, and ensuring the successful implementation of health programmes
  • Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines

The Saw Swee Hock School of Public Health (SSHSPH), National University of Singapore (NUS), is inviting applications for full-time Visiting Professor(s). The School is seeking to hire one or more Professor(s) in Health Equity dedicated to research on equity issues concerning health and healthcare, ideally those with experience in an Asian local context. In exceptional cases, candidates with expertise outside of Asia may be appointed if there is evidence of strong understanding and commitment to Asia health equity.

Job Descriptions

Objective

To provide evidence to influence and inform health policies and programs in order to reduce equity gaps that lead to disparities in health.

Area(s) of Focus

  • Understanding health disparities and contributing factors of marginalised and vulnerable populations
  • Providing evidence and guidance to inform policy and programming to eliminate inequities
  • Developing and testing social and/or technologically innovative solutions to eliminate health inequities

Responsibilities

  • Establishing and leading an independent research agenda through securing extramural funding.
  • Developing and participating in collaborative, multidisciplinary research initiatives.
  • Designing and teaching undergraduate and graduate courses in public health.
  • Supervising and advising postgraduate students.
  • Contributing to policy and community development efforts in the field of public health.



Requirements

  • A recognised Doctoral degree in a relevant discipline with a strong post-doctoral professional and/or academic record.
  • Proven track record of authorship of impactful dissemination material (e.g. policy paper, technical report, peer-reviewed journal article/commentary, monograph, book etc).
  • Recognition regionally or internationally as a thought leader and expert in the field.
  • Experience in leading independent research studies or components within larger research programmes, and/or developing, leading, implementing and evaluating projects and programmes.
  • Ability to generate and sustain an independent stream of research funding.
  • Ability to teach public health courses and supervise students at various levels (undergraduate, graduate and lifelong learners).
  • Ability to work within multidisciplinary teams.
  • Ability to work with and teach culturally diverse audiences.

Other Requirements

In addition, candidates should have demonstrated experience and achievements in the following:

  • Networking links with international and local NGOs and Health and other relevant government ministries in ASEAN.
  • Prior experience and success working with international and local NGOs, governments and government bodies in ASEAN.
