As an H&S Director, you will develop and implement high-level safety strategies that align with business objectives. You will ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements while fostering a proactive safety culture across the organisation. 1. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Vision & Strategy

  • Review, revise, and oversee the Company's health & Safety vision and mission

  • Oversee incident investigations, root cause analyses, and corrective actions, ensuring transparency and continuous improvement across the business.
  • Overseeing the strategy behind risk mitigation and controls.
  • Overseeing the strategy of reporting any events/incidents as soon as reasonably practical.

Safety inductions & Briefings

  • Conduct regular safety visits by management to discuss risk perception and ensure that safety procedures are understood and followed
  • Ensure that all employees and contractors receive safety inductions and briefings before starting work on any site

Compliance & Policy

  • Ensure full compliance with health and safety regulations, maintaining up-to-date knowledge of relevant laws and industry standards.
  • Design, implement, and monitor corporate health and safety policies, procedures, and programs to mitigate risks and promote a culture of safety.
  • Understanding and overseeing the implementing of the company health and safety policy

Training & Development

  • Overseeing the strategy that drive appropriate personal training/competence to carry out the prescribed task and that the necessary licenses/certificates of competence are current and appropriate.
  • Offer specific training modules dedicated to occupational health and safety, and ensure continuous learning programs like the VINCI Energies Academy's trainings are rolled out across APAC

Employee engagement & Wellbeing

  • Champion workplace well-being programs that enhance employee health and safety beyond compliance requirements
  • Safety network: create and educate a network to have safety fully embedded in our culture

  • Medical Degree (MBBS/MD) required. An advanced degree (e.g., PhD, MBA) is highly desirable.

In this capacity, he/she manages all operational Health & Beauty activities of Robertet, and maintains the good image and reputation of Robertet among customers and partners.

Specifically, the Director of Health & Beauty (Asia) has the primary responsibility to ensure business growth in line with the accepted strategy and ambition.

Main Activities:

Business growth and management:

  • Develop new market and opportunities for H&B and grow existing ones in SEA, India, China, Taiwan, Korea and Japan;

  • Ensure customer support directly or in conjunction with selective distributors;

  • Guide and track technical questions and liaise with adequate supporting teams;

  • Maintain and optimise growth of current established accounts;

  • Follow up of samples and requested information to ensure customer needs are met.

Tracking activities and budgets:

  • Recommend the annual budget based on the pre-approved strategy and ambition;

  • Track the achievement of sales targets and define corrective action plans if necessary;

  • Monthly report on business activities and results to H&B Division and Robertet Asia's management.

Rolling out sales policy in his/her region:

  • Roll out sales policy (rates, targets, etc.) within his/her territory in conjunction with Robertet Asia's management;

  • Coordinate sales promotions in his/her perimeter;

  • Conduct regular market and competitor monitoring and share this information with the relevant contacts;

  • Share sales policy directions and joint and individual targets with his/her future teams or with selected distributors.

Additional Responsibilities:
  • Follow all procedures as required and in accordance with quality, safety and CSR requirements;

  • Ensure that Company material and intellectual property are securely kept at all times and that Company security and confidentiality agreements are adhered to;

  • Attend nominated sales and product training as directed by management (including overseas travel where required);

  • Identify emerging opportunities for Robertet product lines within the various nutraceutical markets and formulate a strategic plan to realise business;

  • Prepare product costings and quotes for submission to customers;

  • Participate in relevant industry associations and their functions where relevant;

  • Procurement and organisation of Robertet's promotional material;

  • Other functions as requested by management.

Job Requirements
  • Degree or diploma in Chemistry, Food Science and Technology or any equivalent discipline;

  • A minimum 15 years of relevant Nutraceutical or Ingredient industry experience, Flavour and Fragrance knowledge is a plus;

  • Proven track record of successful business development within the Health & Wellness industry.
