Health Care Assistant, Cardiac Laboratory
You will assist patients at various service points within the Cardiac Laboratory, including attending to their enquiries, guiding them on use of Self-Help Kiosks/ Mobile Services, providing wayfinding to their next service station, and helping to take basic vital measurements such as height, weight, and blood pressure. You are also responsible for retrieving and dispatching documents to relevant departments, and in charge of linen inventory. You are expected to keep your work area neat and tidy.
Requirements
- At least a primary school education
- A good team player with a pleasant disposition
- Documented proof of:
- Measles (or Mumps, Measles and Rubella) vaccination or serological evidence of measles immunity; and
- Diphtheria (Tetanus, Diphtheria and Pertussis) vaccination taken during preceding 10 years at prevailing point of reference as required for all healthcare workers under the Healthcare Services Act.
Applicants without these vaccinations are welcome to apply if they undertake to complete the vaccination(s) before work commencement upon successful interview and are offered employment.
