Responsibilities

Monitor the implementation and performance of EHS programs and work activities in order to advice management so as to improve on any deficiencies and WSH Act, environmental and other legal non-compliances.

Assist with the training and competencies of the emergency response teams
Requirements
Diploma in Engineering/Occupational Safety/Health or GCE 'O' Levels/GCE 'N' Levels or equivalent
2 to 5 years experience in construction industry, preferably in Facilities Management/Data Centre/M&E Projects
WSQ Advanced Certificate in Workplace Safety and Health (Level B) or equivalent qualification recognized by MOM
Keen eye for detail on site work activity to eliminate hazards and risk

- Identify unsafe acts, unsafe conditions and issue stop work order to any work activities in order to take actions to rectify to safe environment before initiating safe start work.
- Liaises with local authorities and Group HSESQ on HSESQ issues and in planning of inspections, audits, drills and exercises.
- To organise HSESQ program, promotional events and activities.
- Perform as the FSM to ensure fire safety regulation, fire protection system and fire prevention management are complying to SCDF and GEHS requirement.
- Act as PFSO and to manage 3rd party security service providers to meet ISPS requirement.
Performs any other HSESQ roles and responsibilities as assigned.
Requirements:
- MOM registered WSHO and a SCDF registered Fire Safety Manager (FSM)
- At least 5 years of experience as a Safety Officer / FSM, preferably in the Oil & Gas industry
- Diploma in technical / Engineering or Degree in Environmental & Occupational Health & Safety
- Good knowledge with EHSSQ Management System (OHSAS45001, ISO14001, ISO9001, SS651) and experienced in internal/external auditing
- Possess certification in related field of competency will be an added advantage – Managing Work-At-Height, Assess Confined Space for Safe Entry at Work, Scaffolding, Lifting Operation, WSQ Implement Incident Management Processes (SCDF)
- Meticulous and conscientious in site checks and audits to ensure compliance

Reporting to Senior Manager, HSE, this position will be responsible for promoting and managing Health, Safety & Environment matters in the production plant.
Responsibilities
- Oversee Plant security and conduct daily inspection and routine checks with contractors, including managing them on-site.
- Share incident reports and conduct investigatory meetings for any plant accident or major incident on-site.
- Assist in executing work site Safety, Occupational Health and Environ Management system in Production plant.
- Conduct safety induction course, safety training and briefing sessions.
- Monitor and ensure HSE items and equipment at Plant site comply with Company rules and government regulations.
- Promote HSE by organising Occupational Health programs and educational activities to raise awareness on safety, health and environment.
- Provide advice on HSE regulations and matters to employees.
- Provide inputs on HSE issues during risk assessments.
- Manage and promote of Kaizen and 5S activities
- Manage and issue of common Personal Protective Equipment.
- Participate in regular toolbox meetings and be the representative for Resident Contractor Group Meetings.
- Support Fire Safety Manager on Fire Safety matters.
- Act as license holder for Petroleum & Flammable Materials, Hazardous Substance storage license or Fire Safety Manager if necessary.
- Act as Workplace Health & Safety Officer in accordance with duties under Workplace Safety & Health Act.
- To be the contact person for government authorities such as MOM, NEA, SCDF etc.
Requirements
- WSQ Specialist Diploma in Safety & Health / Degree in Occupational Safety & Health or relevant degree with at least 2 years of relevant experience
