We are seeking a passionate and visionary Head Coach to lead the development and daily operations of a premier racquet sports academy in Singapore. This role oversees all coaching, business, and operational functions — while also spearheading community-based social impact initiatives that make padel accessible and inclusive to all.
Key Responsibilities:
Coaching & Program Development
- Provide padel coaching to children and adults across all skill levels – from beginner to high-performance.
- Conduct regular assessments and performance evaluations to uphold coaching excellence.
- Design and implement progressive coaching programs focusing on skill development and enjoyment.
Social Impact Leadership
- Lead the development and execution of community outreach programs that promote inclusivity, accessibility, and talent development in padel
- Coordinate with NGOs, schools, and community groups to identify participants for subsidized or inclusive padel programs.
- Train and support coaches in adaptive and inclusive coaching techniques (e.g. working with youth from underserved communities, people with disabilities).
- Track impact metrics such as participation numbers, scholarship placements, or corporate sponsorship involvement.
- Plan and execute social impact events, including volunteer-based tournaments, access days, and public engagement campaigns.
Business Development & Client Engagement
- Identify new business opportunities to increase revenue and expand reach.
- Build and maintain long-term partnerships with schools, clubs, and community organizations.
- Develop and execute marketing and sales strategies (including digital).
- Monitor and adjust sales strategies based on performance.
Team Leadership & Operations
- Hire, train, mentor, and manage coaching staf, ensuring alignment with academy values and standards.
- Oversee daily operations, ensuring smooth coordination and consistent service delivery.
- Lead scheduling, performance reviews, and compensation decisions for the coaching team.
- Foster a high-performing, positive team culture focused on collaboration and player success.
Quality & Admin Management
- Ensure consistent implementation of safety, hygiene, and quality control procedures.
- Be present and hands-on during weekends, community events, and seasonal programs.
- Maintain accurate records of customer registrations, attendance, and payments.
- Ensure all activities align with legal, insurance, and safety requirements.
- Work flexible hours, including weekends, to support academy operations and events.
