Job Title: Sr. Director of Human Capital Management

The Sr. Director of Human Capital Management will play a pivotal role in driving organizational growth and performance by leading strategic initiatives that foster employee engagement, talent development, and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Strategic HR Leadership: Collaborate with senior leaders to develop a comprehensive people strategy aligned with business objectives.
  • Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning: Oversee recruitment strategies to attract top talent across engineering, manufacturing, quality, regulatory, and commercial functions.
  • Talent Management & Development: Implement leadership development, technical training, and high-potential programs to build future leadership capacity.
  • Compensation, Benefits & Rewards: Develop a total rewards strategy, including salary structures, incentive programs, retention plans, and benefits.
  • Employee Engagement & Culture: Drive initiatives to enhance employee recognition, retention, and overall job satisfaction in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications:

· Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management or related field; advanced HR certifications preferred.

· Minimum 12–15 years of progressive HR experience, including at least 5 years in a senior leadership role in manufacturing, MedTech, life sciences or relevant industries.

Responsibilities And Role Overview

Reporting to the Vice President, Benefits country lead, this position will also support the Vice President of APAC Benefits to manage the oversight of strategy, governance, and operations in the program, as well as opportunities to collaborate with the broader team across several APAC locations. The team also focuses on engagement, innovation and education. We work closely with vendor partners and expert advisors to provide a high-quality offering to employees.

The ideal candidate will leverage their benefits expertise to design and deliver comprehensive benefit programs to 1,000+ employees across the region. This position is at the Analyst level and based in Singapore.

STRATEGY

  • Own and support program proposals/reviews, presenting findings and recommendations in a clear and concise manner
  • Collaborate and support broader projects with colleagues across Asia Pacific and globally as required
  • Drive employee engagement and marketing initiatives to increase both visibility and commerciality of the programs
  • Manage relationship with key program vendors (e.g., oversee program design, policies, implementation, budgeting, contracting and on-going delivery)
  • Manage the advisory and technological services to the business including benefit systems and vendor management, presentations/postings and the delivery of other stakeholder management requirements

Governance

  • Identify and implement opportunities to automate processes and improve efficiencies, aiming for scalability across Asia Pacific
  • Ensure programs are compliant with local regulations, and ensuring updates are made in a timely manner when necessary
  • Partner with internal groups (e.g., Legal, Tax, Finance, and the Vendor Management Office) to accomplish ongoing tasks and approvals as required
  • Manage and navigate internal vendor management and risk policies to ensure compliant

Operations

  • Assist in the routine delivery of on-going administration including payroll, tax reporting, working with vendors and internal stakeholders
  • Support vendor management, tracking performance against KPIs/SLAs, and assisting with contract reviews/renewals, while also aiding cyclical processes such as insurance renewals
  • Manage escalated employee issues
  • Investigate disruption to processes and propose solutions to prevent recurrence

Skills / Requirements

  • 1-3 years of experience in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating a proven track record of successful project and operational delivery in HR; Experience in benefits/insurance consulting/management preferred
  • Results-oriented; ability to successfully manage multiple priorities and deadlines, take initiative to improve own performance
  • Strong communication, ability to build relationship with multiple internal and external stakeholders
  • Strong critical thinking and risk management skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Role is in-office but with team members spread across multiple locations

Introduction

Responsibilities

  • Be a thought leader who can partner with HR Business Partners and Talent Acquisition to advise and deliver practical solutions to the business on compensation, mobility and benefits practices
  • Collaborate with senior leaders and cross-functional teams to align reward strategies with business objectives while ensuring adherence to legal and regulatory requirements related to compensation processes and records
  • Creativity in structuring compensation offers including valuing deferred compensation buyouts
  • Conduct benchmarking studies and research industry best practices to support the development and enhancement of compensation and benefits strategies
  • Drive effective communication and engagement strategies on rewards programs and initiatives.
  • Develop and refine the compensation planning worksheets and excel-based simulations to support incentive plan designs
  • Stay updated on emerging trends and developments in Total Rewards (including Mobility) and provide strategic recommendations based on market insights
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with external vendors, consultants, and industry networks to leverage expertise and stay informed about emerging practices
  • Own the incentives reconciliation and financial reporting processes to analyse the financial impact of reward programs and provide recommendations for optimisation
  • Work on audit requirements relating to compensation processes and records, ensuring accuracy and compliance
  • Lead the development and implementation of any rewards projects, structure and processes
Requirements
  • Minimally 12 years of relevant work experience in compensation
  • Accounting/Finance/Economics/Statistics or related degree will be an advantage
  • Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Powerpoint. Programming/computing knowledge is an advantage
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential
  • Ability to work collaboratively and pivot in a constantly evolving environment
  • Self-starter who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, strong attention to details and high degree of accuracy for both numerical and written work are critical success factors
  • Knowledge of financial services industry will be an advantage
