Your Role – Impactful, Meaningful And Future-Oriented
- Design and develop hardware-related documentation for CBTC projects, including:
- Bookwirings (detailed wiring diagrams and interconnection documents)
- Bonding Plans (track circuit design and interface with trackwork and traction for safety and EMC compliance)
- Cable Core Plans (cable structuring and termination documentation)
- Power Distribution Panel (PDP) Single Line Diagrams for station-level or wayside electrical systems
- Conduct power consumption and load calculations to support the design and validation of the electrical architecture.
- Develop and review technical specifications for all equipment to be supplied (e.g., power supplies, field cabinets, junction boxes, etc.).
- Engage in technical discussions with the customer, providing expertise and ensuring that hardware designs align with contractual and operational requirements.
- Work collaboratively with Engineering and Project Managers to plan, track, and deliver hardware deliverables according to project schedules and milestones.
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams (Systems, RAMS, Installation, etc.) to ensure designs meet all functional, safety, and regulatory requirements.
- Support equipment procurement, technical evaluation of vendor solutions, and participate in FATs (Factory Acceptance Tests) as necessary.
- Ensure compliance with relevant railway and electrical standards (e.g., EN 50126/50128/50129, IEC 61375, IEC 60204).
- Assist during integration, testing, and commissioning phases by resolving technical issues and providing on-site or remote support as needed.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of engineering templates, tools, and internal processes.
Your Qualifications And Skills – Digital And Solid
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in hardware design within the railway, transportation, or other safety-critical industries. Experience working in international or large-scale infrastructure projects is preferred.
- Strong command ofAutoCAD/Microstation, or similar tools for generating electrical schematics and single line diagrams.
- Knowledge and experience indeveloping PDP single line diagramsandperforming system-level power calculations.
- Familiarity withCBTC systems, automation principles specific toGoA 4 solutions as well as understanding of electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) and surge protection in power systems.

Job Description
You will design and develop electronic circuit boards for our drone systems and be part of a tight-knit team that provides safe, reliable drone systems and quality services to our distinguished customers in Singapore and around the region.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Research for solution: You will research and define efficient and reliable architecture to fulfil electronic circuit board requirements for our drone systems.
- Component sourcing: You will source suitable electronic components to implement the design architecture.
- Schematic design: You will study datasheets of the electronic components and design the schematic of electronic circuit boards that can fulfil the requirements.
- PCB design: You will design the PCB layout of electronic circuit boards and generate Gerber files for PCB fabrication.
- Firmware design: You will be responsible for firmware programming in embedded C/C++ language.
- PCB assembly test: You will test PCB assemblies thoroughly and ensure they operate as expected.
- Generation of documents and drawings: You will generate documents and drawings of design and test.
Requirements
The ideal candidate should have the following skills and experience:
- 3-5 years of industry or other relevant experience in electronic hardware and firmware design
- Experience in analog and digital circuit design.
- Experience in designing electronic circuits with microcontrollers, digital signal processors (DSPs), field programmable gate arrays (FPGAs), etc.
- Knowledge in various communication buses and protocols such as UART, I2C, SPI, CAN, Ethernet, etc.
- Proficient in schematic and PCB design tools such as Altium Designer, OrCAD Capture and PCB Designer, Autodesk EAGLE, etc.
- Proficient in using instruments such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, logic analysers, etc. to troubleshoot issues on electronic circuit boards.
