Your Role – Impactful, Meaningful And Future-Oriented

  • Design and develop hardware-related documentation for CBTC projects, including:
    • Bookwirings (detailed wiring diagrams and interconnection documents)

  • Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams (Systems, RAMS, Installation, etc.) to ensure designs meet all functional, safety, and regulatory requirements.
  • Support equipment procurement, technical evaluation of vendor solutions, and participate in FATs (Factory Acceptance Tests) as necessary.

Your Qualifications And Skills – Digital And Solid

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or related field.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in hardware design within the railway, transportation, or other safety-critical industries. Experience working in international or large-scale infrastructure projects is preferred.
  • Strong command ofAutoCAD/Microstation, or similar tools for generating electrical schematics and single line diagrams.
  • Knowledge and experience indeveloping PDP single line diagramsandperforming system-level power calculations.

Stakeholder & Customer Engagement:

  • Represent the hardware function in internal coordination meetings and with external stakeholders.
  • Participate in customer-facing technical discussions, providing leadership and clarity on design decisions, compliance, and implementation strategies.
  • Act as a senior escalation point for complex technical issues and provide support during installation, integration, and commissioning phases.

Your Qualifications And Skills – Digital And Solid

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in railway hardware design or a similar safety-critical environment. International experience or exposure to complex multi-site projects is preferred.
  • At least 2–3 years in a technical leadership or team lead role, with a proven track record of successful project delivery.
  • Strong proficiency in hardware documentation (wiring diagrams, PDPs, bonding plans, cable core plan).
  • Experience in CBTC systems, preferably with GoA 4 architecture. Familiarity with system safety, EMC, and functional verification principles is a plus.
  • Ability to perform detailed electrical load and power consumption calculations.
  • Deep understanding of relevant standards and best practices in railway signaling and electrical systems.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Fluent in English (written and verbal); other languages are a plus.
  • Experience with design automation tools and document control systems is advantageous.

  • Supervise, mentor, and guide a team of Hardware Design Engineers.
  • Ensure effective resource planning and allocation across multiple projects in collaboration with the Engineering Manager and Trackside Lead Engineers.
  • Maintain oversight of task execution to ensure deliverables are completed on time and to the required standard.
Project & Process Oversight:
  • Monitor and coordinate all hardware-related activities throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring compliance with relevant standards (e.g., EN 50126/50128/50129, IEC 61375, IEC 60204).
  • Promote the use of standardized solutions, templates, and best practices to ensure consistency and efficiency across projects.
  • Contribute to risk management by identifying and mitigating hardware-related risks early in the design phase.
Competency Development & Team Growth:
  • Evaluate team skill sets and define training and development plans to maintain and enhance technical competencies.
  • Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture focused on quality, innovation, and continuous improvement.
Stakeholder & Customer Engagement:
  • Represent the hardware function in internal coordination meetings and with external stakeholders.
  • Participate in customer-facing technical discussions, providing leadership and clarity on design decisions, compliance, and implementation strategies.
  • Act as a senior escalation point for complex technical issues and provide support during installation, integration, and commissioning phases.
Your Qualifications And Skills – Digital And Solid
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in railway hardware design or a similar safety-critical environment. International experience or exposure to complex multi-site projects is preferred.
  • At least 2–3 years in a technical leadership or team lead role, with a proven track record of successful project delivery.
  • Strong proficiency in hardware documentation (wiring diagrams, PDPs, bonding plans, cable core plan).
  • Experience in CBTC systems, preferably with GoA 4 architecture. Familiarity with system safety, EMC, and functional verification principles is a plus.
  • Ability to perform detailed electrical load and power consumption calculations.
  • Deep understanding of relevant standards and best practices in railway signaling and electrical systems.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Fluent in English (written and verbal); other languages are a plus.
  • Experience with design automation tools and document control systems is advantageous.

Electronics Hardware Systems Engineer

This is an exciting opportunity to lead the design, development, and validation of electronic hardware systems used in precision manufacturing tools. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in analog and digital circuit design, including power supply and signal conditioning.

The successful candidate will contribute to critical technology innovations that shape the semiconductor industry. As part of a high-performing R&D team, you'll work closely with multidisciplinary teams to deliver end-to-end solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and validate electronic hardware systems for precision manufacturing tools.
  • Develop schematic diagrams and PCB layouts using industry-standard EDA tools.
  • Integrate and test analog, digital, and power electronic circuits to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
  • Work closely with firmware, mechanical, and software engineers to deliver end-to-end solutions.
  • Conduct hands-on debugging, troubleshooting, and performance tuning of circuit assemblies.
  • Evaluate component selection, BOM cost, and system compatibility for manufacturability.
  • Ensure designs meet relevant safety and compliance standards.
  • Participate in design reviews, risk assessments, and documentation processes to support product lifecycle.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in hardware circuit design and PCB development.
  • Proficiency in PCB design software such as Altium Designer, OrCAD, or Eagle.
  • Strong foundation in analog and digital circuit design, including power supply and signal conditioning.

Centre for Advanced Robotics Technology Innovation (CARTIN) are looking for a hardware-focused Research Associate to design and prototype a compact and heat-resistant multi-sensor payload. The system must withstand temperatures of 250°C for 10 minutes (without external cooling) while maintaining internal stability for embedded electronics.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design compact mechanical housing to operate under 250°C ambient conditions.
  • Ensure internal core temperature remains under 55°C during runtime.
  • Select and integrate miniaturized components (compute, battery, sensors).
  • Strip sensor casings and reassemble into a custom mount with thermal shielding.
  • Perform heat simulation, thermal insulation, and shock-resistance design.
  • Test hardware in specified sites and environments.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor or Master in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or similar.
  • Strong experience in heat-resistant enclosure design and miniaturized hardware integration.
  • Familiar with thermal simulation tools (ANSYS, SolidWorks, etc.).
  • Experience with IP65/ IP67 standards, fanless computing, and embedded design.
  • Knowledge of fire-fighting robot or harsh-environment robotic platforms is a plus.

Join our team to build a compact and thermally protected SLAM sensor payload for extreme environments. The candidate will design hardware that survives 250°C conditions while maintaining internal electronics <55°C. Experience with high-temp materials, mechanical CAD, and embedded platform integration is essential. Ideal for Mechatronics/Mechanical engineers with strong prototyping skills.
