Job Description
We are seeking a Research Associate to join our team for a 12-month appointment, with the possibility of renewal.
The successful candidate will be part of an interdisciplinary project focusing on sound transmission in buildings and developing efficient design methodologies and materials to control noise using environmentally sustainable materials.
The Research Associate will be responsible for conducting simulations, field measurements, data analysis, as well as laboratory and field testing throughout the duration of the project.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct simulations and field measurements to better understand sound transmission in buildings.
- Analyze data and develop efficient design methodologies and materials to control noise.
- Collaborate across disciplines to achieve project goals.
- Masters Degree in Architecture, Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
- At least 2 years of relevant work experience.
- Demonstrated knowledge related to acoustic modelling (e.g., COMSOL Multiphysics) and measurement.
- Demonstrated data analytic skills, ideally with machine learning.
- Academic writing skills.
- Interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently with limited supervision.
This research aims to contribute to the development of environmentally sustainable solutions for building acoustics. The Research Associate will have the opportunity to work on a challenging project that requires interdisciplinary collaboration and expertise.

Green Mark certification
and sustainability initiatives across our construction projects.
Key Responsibilities
Green Mark Certification:
Lead and manage the full
Green Mark certification process
(Platinum, Super Low Energy, etc.).
Liaise with
BCA
and Green Mark consultants to ensure timely submission and assessment of documentation.
