Community Sustainability Specialist
We are seeking a highly motivated Community Sustainability Specialist to join our team in Singapore. As a key member of our Community Innovation Team, you will be responsible for expanding our community programs to multiple locations and working closely with local communities to achieve sustainability goals.
- Sustainability Initiatives: Develop and implement strategies for reducing electronic waste and promoting sustainable practices among communities.
- Volunteer Management: Recruit, train, and deploy volunteers to become repair coaches and assist with program venue management.
- Program Development: Oversee logistics, coordinate with venue organizers, and manage customer queries to ensure successful program execution.
About This Role: You will work in our Singapore lab, collaborating with the Community Innovation Team to drive community resilience and support for sustainability initiatives. Your tasks will include volunteer management, program venue management, and administrative duties such as content creation and stakeholder communication.
Requirements: To succeed in this role, you should possess a minimum ITE qualification in any discipline, have excellent teamwork and time management skills, and be able to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Additionally, you should be comfortable working on weekends and be able to communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders.

Salary : $3500-$5000
Job description:
• Lead and manage the full Green Mark certification process (e.g., Green Mark Platinum, Super Low Energy, etc.).
• Liaise with BCA and Green Mark consultants to ensure timely submission and assessment of documentation.
• Coordinate with design, M&E, and construction teams to ensure compliance with sustainability targets.
• Integrate sustainable design and construction practices into all project phases.
• Monitor energy modeling, daylighting analysis, thermal comfort, and other sustainability simulations.
• Ensure materials, equipment, and methods align with Green Mark criteria (e.g., energy efficiency, water conservation, IAQ).
• Prepare Green Mark documentation, including pre-assessment reports, checklists, and final submission packages.
• Track progress and submit periodic reports to senior management and relevant authorities.
• Conduct workshops and training for project teams on Green Mark requirements and best practices.
• Coordinate with architects, consultants, contractors, and subcontractors to ensure sustainability goals are achieved.
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering, Building Science, Architecture, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in green building or sustainable construction.
• Certified Green Mark Professional (GMP) or Green Mark Accredited Professional (GMAP) by BCA is mandatory.
• Familiarity with Singapore Green Plan 2030, BCA Green Mark 2021 framework, and other local sustainability regulations.
• Strong project management, communication, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in sustainability software/tools (e.g., IESVE, EnergyPlus, Autodesk Insight) is an advantage.
• Experience with other green building certifications (e.g., LEED, WELL) is a plus.
• Knowledge of embodied carbon, LCA, and circular economy strategies.
