Job Opportunity

The Clinical Intervention Centre Manager will oversee and supervise the department in delivering clinical services. This role ensures day-to-day administrative duties and guarantees the quality of clinical services provided by the department, as well as the strategic development of clinical services for vulnerable children/youth and their families.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure the clinical team conducts accurate assessments of individual needs of children/youth/family in areas such as family capacity, emotional stability, peer relations and community profile.
  • Develop and implement intervention plans within programme guidelines.
  • Maintain positive supportive relationships with children/youth in the programme and provide direct interventions when required.
  • Ensure the clinical team works professionally, including protecting confidentiality of counselling sessions and clients.
  • Maintain documentation detailing service plans, outcome measures, community contacts and referrals.
  • Work with clients involving thought processes, feelings and behavior; either individually or in groups, using safe counselling and psychotherapy modalities to help process and overcome behavioural, emotional and thinking issues.
  • Ensure the clinical team maintains client confidentiality and develops a system for safekeeping confidential materials.
  • Maintain proper case records of clients, including personal information, reports and documentation of all sessions and clients.
  • Flexibility in working hours according to programme and client needs.
Managerial Tasks
  • Supervise interns, clinicians, counsellors and youthworkers.
  • Provide in-house training to upskill and develop clinical skills of BT staff.
  • Collate and prepare monthly, quarterly and bi-yearly reports.
  • Evaluate and assess relevance of current clinical services and programmes, suggesting improvements to Directors.
  • Represent BT at external functions as a management member when necessary.
Organizational Requirements
  • Participate actively in fundraising activities and other commitments undertaken by Boys Town.
  • Collaborate closely with other staff, departments and components of Boys Town.
Requirements
  • Masters degree in Counselling, Psychology, Guidance and Counselling or related specialist fields.
  • Registered Counsellor with the Singapore Association for Counselling (SASW).
  • Registered Supervisor with the Singapore Association for Counselling (SASW).
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience, including supervisory roles.
  • Experience working with children/CYP and their families.
  • Expertise in evidence-based therapies and interventions.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Possess humility, emotional maturity, empathy and self-reflexivity in working with clients and stakeholders.
  • Energetic, dynamic and willingness to learn.
  • Strong commitment to professional ethics and integrity.

Job Title: Clinical Services Planner
Description

You will play a pivotal role in the planning and development of clinical services, collaborating with the ECH Development Secretariat to drive key organisational processes forward.

This exciting opportunity is within the Licensing and Enterprise Risk Management unit, where you will report directly to the Senior Manager on all operational, manpower, and administrative matters.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting ECH clinical teams in developing care models and work processes
  • Facilitating stakeholder engagement to ensure alignment between clinical needs and facility planning
  • Collaborating with the ECH and EGH Development Secretariat to prepare for the opening of the new hospital

In addition to ECH clinical services planning, you will contribute significantly to the following areas:

Compliance - Data Protection

You will assist in updating internal processes to meet PDPA obligations, conduct audits to identify gaps, and enhance internal control systems. You will also organise activities to raise staff awareness of data protection policies and provide secretariat support for data protection meetings.

Compliance - Accreditation & Licensing

You will maintain systems and processes to ensure conformance with MOH Healthcare Services Act (HCSA) and other standards, including ISO Accreditation. You will plan, conduct, and follow up on internal audits to ensure policies and procedures are updated and support all departments in meeting licensing requirements.

Enterprise Risk Management

You will assist the Senior Manager in analysing risk information to identify trends and areas of focus for annual review by Senior Management. You will collaborate with stakeholders to monitor key risks and coordinate ongoing ERM activities across the three CHs. Additionally, you will facilitate ERM implementation at each CH and promote a risk-aware culture within SCH, ensuring compliance with the SingHealth AEN framework for incident reporting.
