Key Responsibilities
The Senior Manager / Manager (Knowledge Publications) will be responsible for the end-to-end production of thier major publications. Key responsibilities include:
- Formulating content strategies, including content themes, structure, format and flow.
- Working with colleagues and other subject matter experts to research and propose impactful content elements, including interviews, essays, and infographics.
- Developing and executing plans to secure original content from contributors.
- Researching interviewees, proposing questions, and scheduling interviews.
- Writing and editing selected articles.
- Supervising the editing and layout of all content to high editorial standards, including drafting or editing titles, standfirsts, headings, pull-quotes, captions, and bios.
- Managing contributors, editors, designers and others, to ensure each publication is delivered on schedule, within budget, and to a high standard.
- Maintaining and growing thier distribution lists for both print and digital publications
- Promote new publications, including through social media.
- Meeting readership and engagement KPIs for proprietory publications
Experience and Qualifications
- Experience in similar writing and editing, such as business or science journalism.
- Experience in publishing, or other project management work of a comparable nature.
- Experience working in, or closely with, government, is a major advantage.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Journalism or its equivalent.

JOB DESCRIPTION
We are looking for an experienced and passionate Account Manager for our Public Sector business segment to drive and secure our position as a reliable and proactive vendor/ partner for our local authorities. You shall be responsible for driving revenue growth by acquiring new government accounts and expanding existing relationships. This role requires a deep understanding of the public sector procurement process, specifically for IT manpower and professional services. The ideal candidate will be a strategic hunter and relationship builder, capable of navigating complex bureaucratic structures to identify, qualify, and close deals for IT staffing, outsourcing, and project-based solutions.
Responsibilities
Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Account Development
- As an approved vendor under GovTech Application Development & Support and ICT Professional Services, actively work with internal teams and external manpower partners to offer timely talent outsourcing and development services to requests from all the government agencies.
- Develop and execute a strategic business plan to achieve and exceed sales targets for IT manpower and outsourcing services within Public Sector organizations.
- Be the frontline contact to Public Sector organizations and build up a trusted relationship with them.
- Where applicable, identify new Public Sector tender opportunities, drive the tender preparations and post-submission communications towards tender awards.
- Be the owner of new accounts won, ensure satisfactory deliverables and grow the accounts.
- Stay abreast of the Government’s technology trends and propose strategies to the company to keep up to or move ahead of these trends, plus working with external agencies to offer manpower having the required new technical skills.
- Monitor competitor activities and market trends to refine sales strategies.
Account Management
- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with existing Public Sector accounts from working level personnel to the decision-makers.
- Coordinate with relevant teams within the company – project management, R&D and operations, as well as external partners – to ensure timely and satisfactory deliverables to customers.
- Grow business revenue with existing accounts beyond the won projects by actively seeking out potential needs for up-sell and cross-sell opportunities.
- Responsible for sales budgeting and forecast of customer accounts.
Partners Development
- Source for and build up network of external partners to complement the company’s internal capabilities to fulfill the required spectrum of technical expertise for projects.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Diploma/Bachelor’s Degree holder
- At least 3 years of experience in business development or account management related to software, system solutions and manpower outsourcing to Public Sector accounts
- Deep understanding of IT roles and technologies required by the Public Sector.
- Excellent relationship-building and networking abilities.
- Hands-on experience in leading and driving government tender submissions
- Background or knowledge in IT, software, cloud services
- Highly organized and able to manage complex project requirements and deliverables
- Literacy in business contracts and agreements
- Strong interest in fast paced ICT technologies
- Build lasting trust with people not merely by words but also by action
Good-to-have Skills or Experience
- Experience in manpower outsourcing services to the Public Sector
- IT project management or Agile project management related certification
