The successful candidate will join one of SIA Group's Cloud/DevOps teams, focusing on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) technologies.
Key Responsibilities
Collaborate closely with the application stakeholders to deliver GCP infrastructure services that are resilient and secure, adhering to best practices for data management and processing.
Administer and manage cloud infrastructure deployment on GCP, including provisioning and de-provisioning resources, maintaining security posture, monitoring resource utilization, configuring networks, and managing backup/restore processes.
Troubleshoot issues effectively, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective and preventive actions during and after incidents to minimize downtime.
Create and maintain comprehensive documentation and processes for troubleshooting, system maintenance, and configuration management.

Be prepared to perform system administration tasks and incident resolution outside of normal business hours as needed.
Requirements:
A degree in Information Technology or a related field; GCP Certified Professional Cloud Architect certification is preferred.
A minimum of 5 years of Cloud Infrastructure experience, with at least 3 years of hands-on experience working on GCP. Hands-on experience with AWS or Azure is preferred.
Proficient in Python and Ansible scripting, with a solid understanding of data structures, algorithm design/analysis, and SQL.
Familiarity with DevOps and infrastructure management tools (e.g., JIRA, DataDog, Splunk, Cloud Conformity).
Hands-on experience with Docker containerization and Kubernetes orchestration (GKE) is preferred.
Experience in deploying object storage and data warehousing solutions, particularly with Google Cloud Storage (GCS) and BigQuery is preferred.
Experience with API Management (Google Cloud Endpoints, Apigee), Platform as a Service (Cloud Run, App Engine), and DevOps practices is preferred.
Strong analytical, project management, communication, and interpersonal skills.
