Job Description
As the Facilities Regional Water Engineer, you will be responsible for leading water and wastewater system design for construction projects, providing technical support, expertise, and leading business process alignment on operational and maintenance programs for all front and back-end sites. As a member of the global team residing in your current site/geography, you will represent all regional facility O&M alignment initiatives. You will also lead the design for construction teams and incorporate critical operational and maintenance considerations into design for construction projects. Additionally, you will work with the central team on critical metrics, including eliminating production events that minimize lost moves and scrap.
Responsibilities and Tasks:
- Develop an expert understanding of each site's UPW/WWT systems' operational and maintenance capabilities to provide critical support.
- Lead UPW/WWT system design for construction projects.
- Provide site/regional support for global facility initiatives, in addition to your global water engineering role.
- Technically lead a global cross-functional team focused on operational excellence with site systems engineers.
- Support all sites, including on-site presence for critical failures.
- Actively participate in TPM implementation and alignment, along with ongoing support.
- Drive improvements in utility quality through variation reduction (SPC).
- Align methodologies such as SPC, conformance, SIPP’s, MOC, and 8D problem solving across the network.
- Identify and deploy cost reduction efforts while optimizing energy use for UPW/WWT systems.
- Assess and ensure effective and consistent preventive and predictive maintenance programs, procedures, and checklists across the network.
- Maintain regular communication with site engineering and O&M teams regarding system status and performance.
- Analyze and benchmark equipment performance.
- Identify and develop training and certification programs to support global and site efforts.
- Develop metrics to drive improvements, such as on-time PMs, MTTF, MTTR, etc.
- Provide regular updates on key initiatives and focus areas.
- Review FIPA/METS events and recommend actions to reduce critical impact events.
- Collaborate with construction and engineering teams to ensure project alignment.
- Review site sustaining capital requests in collaboration with construction and engineering teams.
- Support the network in implementing, monitoring, and driving continuous improvement aligned with Micron’s Sustainability programs.
- Benchmark system performance and promote Best-In-Class (BIC) approaches across the network.
- Provide technical advice to overcome project planning and execution challenges.
- Support data collection and validation for sustainability project metrics in the central tracking system.
Requirements:
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively at all organizational levels.
- Proven problem-solving ability across multi-functional and multi-cultural groups within and outside facilities.
Education Required:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering.
Experience Required:
- At least 7 years of experience in Facilities UPW/WWT or Chemical/Gas system engineering, preferably in the semiconductor industry.
Experience Desired:
- Leading or actively participating in global facility engineering efforts.

The Global Facilities Cost Team (FACCOST) drives alignment and benchmarking of facilities cost categories across Micron's global facilities network to achieve cost efficiency and maximize benefits.
FACCOST focuses on planning and prioritizing cost-related strategic programs. We collaborate with all Facilities Network and cross-functional groups to drive deliverables that support both the Organization's and Company's goals. Key areas include Budgeting and Funding Process, Cost Savings, Cost Performance Metrics, and Quarterly Facilities Business Planning.
Role And Responsibilities
Capital Management
- Coordinate budgeting and funding reviews with the facilities network, Finance, Procurement, and Planning stakeholders.
- Oversee project execution, monitor PO and project progress with stakeholders towards completion, and identify mitigation plans to resolve risks in project delays.
- Define cost-saving strategies with Project Owners, Engineering, and Procurement stakeholders.
- Develop reporting capabilities, such as Power Bi Data Analytic, to support detailed data analysis.
- Partner with Planning, Finance, and Procurement stakeholders to examine spend trends, cost drivers, and cost performance.
- Ensure accurate spend data and collaborate with Project Owners to meet Capex Compliance Metrics.
- Govern and support construction project cost-related processes, benchmarking, and performance metrics.
- Collaborate with Planning to examine the Long-Range Plan (LRP) and assess high-level scenario impacts for Facilities.
- Oversee Facilities capital programs and business processes, providing continuous support to address complex issues and close any gaps
- Good understanding of Micron’s Capital Processes (preferable with fundamental knowledge of Facilities operations/engineering, Facilities cost model)
- Ability to effectively organize and facilitate meetings.
- Demonstrate Project Management capability to manage and move cost projects effectively through the project lifecycle.
- Familiarity and able to navigate cost information system applications such as SAP, FMS.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong collaboration and excellent interpersonal skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Adaptability to embrace Business Volatility.
- Excellent PC skills, especially in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook as the candidate will need to manage and analyze a significant amount of data and provide a concise summary.

- Send out regular updates with key items of focus and initiatives. You will review FIPA/METS events and provide recommendations to drive the reduction of criticalimpact events.
- Collaborate with the construction / engineering team to insure alignment on projects.
- Review site sustaining capital requests in collaboration with construction/engineering.
- Support the network effort to implement, monitor and drive continuous improvement for success of Micron’s Sustainability programs in alignment with the long-term Sustainability strategy.

Global Facilities Program Manager
Description
As a Global Facilities Program Manager, you will work closely with all the major functional organizations within Global Facilities, & with the worldwide site Facilities, FE Strategic Program (FE PMO) team, OCT Workforce Development (WFD), and other major corporate organizations to drive systems projects/programs from initiation to completion. These projects/programs are critical to the success of Facilities and the overall network.
Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Supporting Global Fac Work-Force Development (WFD) to establish and maintain Global Fac training plans, training assignment, Training Needs Analysis (TNA), establishing Learning Items, quizzes, and tracking of assigned training status across the Global Fac network. Supporting Global Fac Documentation to maintain the Global Fac Controlled Document Library, including enforcing documentation control, publishing ECNs notifications, & conducting Periodic Document Review (PDR).
- Creating, leading, driving & maintaining Projects/Programs, including project definition, work breakdown structures, schedules, communication plans, scope documents, stakeholder analysis; organizing and coordinating project meetings; developing meeting presentations, agendas, minutes; tracking and following up on action items; early identification and resolution of project risks; establishing metrics, training, software, and measuring and monitoring of program status.
- Collaborate and partner with Global and Site Facilities and other relevant partners (PMO, IT, systems owners, and developers) to develop and deploy global reports, programs, and business processes to network and multi-cultural audiences.
- Serve as owner of Global Facilities systems and solutions (Sharepoint, EDC, SQL Servers, MT Groups, Web Interface Design), providing administrative support, professional guidance, and consultation advice.
- Provide relevant governance, alignment, and mentorship on project/program/portfolio management and other processes/systems/software to external and internal team partners, and re-pivoting priorities based on the changing business landscape.
- Build and maintain, collaborate with metrics owner and systems team, to periodically publish, measure, and supervise routine and ad-hoc reports and dashboards.
- Drive accountability and continual improvement through clear communication, feedback, effective project management updates, and appropriate usage of metrics.
The successful candidate for this position will have:
- Knowledge and experience with Micron WFD & Document Control systems (Workday Training, OJTCert, EDC, SharePoint, MT Groups, ECN, PDR) is preferred.

The Global Facilities Cost Team (FACCOST) drives alignment and benchmarking of facilities cost categories across Micron's global facilities network to achieve cost efficiency and maximize benefits.
FACCOST focuses on planning and prioritizing cost-related strategic programs. We collaborate with all Facilities Network and cross-functional groups to drive deliverables that support both the Organization's and Company's goals. Key areas include Budgeting and Funding Process, Cost Savings, Cost Performance Metrics, and Quarterly Facilities Business Planning.
Role And Responsibilities
Capital Management
- Coordinate budgeting and funding reviews with the facilities network, Finance, Procurement, and Planning stakeholders.
- Oversee project execution, monitor PO and project progress with stakeholders towards completion, and identify mitigation plans to resolve risks in project delays.
- Define cost-saving strategies with Project Owners, Engineering, and Procurement stakeholders.
- Develop reporting capabilities, such as Power Bi Data Analytic, to support detailed data analysis.
- Partner with Planning, Finance, and Procurement stakeholders to examine spend trends, cost drivers, and cost performance.
- Ensure accurate spend data and collaborate with Project Owners to meet Capex Compliance Metrics.
- Govern and support construction project cost-related processes, benchmarking, and performance metrics.
- Collaborate with Planning to examine the Long-Range Plan (LRP) and assess high-level scenario impacts for Facilities.
- Oversee Facilities capital programs and business processes, providing continuous support to address complex issues and close any gaps
- Good understanding of Micron’s Capital Processes (preferable with fundamental knowledge of Facilities operations/engineering, Facilities cost model)
- Ability to effectively organize and facilitate meetings.
- Demonstrate Project Management capability to manage and move cost projects effectively through the project lifecycle.
- Familiarity and able to navigate cost information system applications such as SAP, FMS.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong collaboration and excellent interpersonal skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Adaptability to embrace Business Volatility.
- Excellent PC skills, especially in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook as the candidate will need to manage and analyze a significant amount of data and provide a concise summary.

GLOBAL FACILITIES SOUTH ASIA REGIONAL WATER ENGINEER
As the Facilities regional Water engineer, you will be responsible for leading water and waste water system design for construction projects, providing technical support, expertise, and lead business process alignment on operational and maintenance programs for all front and back end sites. As a global team member residing in your current site/geography, you will represent all regional facility O&M alignment initiatives.You will also lead the design for construction team and incorporate critical operational and maintenance into design for construction projects. You will work with central team on critical metrics, include eliminating production events that minimize lost moves and scrap.
Responsibilities And Tasks
- Expert understanding of each sites UPW/WWT systems operational and maintenance capabilities in order to provide critical support.
- Leading UPW/WWT system design for construction projects
- In addition to your global water engineering role you will also provide site/regional support for global facility initiatives at your location.
- Technically lead a global cross functional team focused on operational excellence with the site systems engineers.
- Provide support to all sites including on site presence for criticalfailures.
- Actively involved in TPM implementation and alignment along with ongoing support
- Drive improvement in the quality of our utilities through variation reduction (SPC).
- Drive the alignment for common methodologies including SPC, conformance, SIPP’s, MOC and 8D problem solving throughout the network.
- Identify and deploy cost reduction efforts while optimizing and reducing energy usage forUPW/WWT systems throughout the network.
- Assess and insure effective and consistent PM and predictive maintenance programs, procedures and checklists across the network.
- Regular communication with the site engineering and O&M teams on status and performance.
- Analyze and benchmark equipment performance.
- Identify and develop training and certification programs that support global and site efforts
- Develop appropriate metrics to drive improvement (On time PM’s, MTTF, MTTR etc.).
- Send out regular updates with key items of focus and initiatives. You will review FIPA/METS events and provide recommendations to drive the reduction of criticalimpact events.
- Collaborate with the construction / engineering team to insure alignment on projects.
- Review site sustaining capital requests in collaboration with construction/engineering.
- Support the network effort to implement, monitor and drive continuous improvement for success of Micron’s Sustainability programs in alignment with the long-term Sustainability strategy.
- Benchmark system performance and drive Best-In-Class approach (BICs) across network.
- Provide technical advice and support to overcome challenges and roadblocks in project planning & execution.
- Support sustainability projects achievement data acquisition and validation in central tracking depository.

Global Facilities Program Manager
Description
As a Global Facilities Program Manager, you will work closely with all the major functional organizations within Global Facilities, & with the worldwide site Facilities, FE Strategic Program (FE PMO) team, OCT Workforce Development (WFD), and other major corporate organizations to drive systems projects/programs from initiation to completion. These projects/programs are critical to the success of Facilities and the overall network.
Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Supporting Global Fac Work-Force Development (WFD) to establish and maintain Global Fac training plans, training assignment, Training Needs Analysis (TNA), establishing Learning Items, quizzes, and tracking of assigned training status across the Global Fac network. Supporting Global Fac Documentation to maintain the Global Fac Controlled Document Library, including enforcing documentation control, publishing ECNs notifications, & conducting Periodic Document Review (PDR).
- Creating, leading, driving & maintaining Projects/Programs, including project definition, work breakdown structures, schedules, communication plans, scope documents, stakeholder analysis; organizing and coordinating project meetings; developing meeting presentations, agendas, minutes; tracking and following up on action items; early identification and resolution of project risks; establishing metrics, training, software, and measuring and monitoring of program status.
- Collaborate and partner with Global and Site Facilities and other relevant partners (PMO, IT, systems owners, and developers) to develop and deploy global reports, programs, and business processes to network and multi-cultural audiences.
- Serve as owner of Global Facilities systems and solutions (Sharepoint, EDC, SQL Servers, MT Groups, Web Interface Design), providing administrative support, professional guidance, and consultation advice.
- Provide relevant governance, alignment, and mentorship on project/program/portfolio management and other processes/systems/software to external and internal team partners, and re-pivoting priorities based on the changing business landscape.
- Build and maintain, collaborate with metrics owner and systems team, to periodically publish, measure, and supervise routine and ad-hoc reports and dashboards.
- Drive accountability and continual improvement through clear communication, feedback, effective project management updates, and appropriate usage of metrics.
The successful candidate for this position will have:
- Knowledge and experience with Micron WFD & Document Control systems (Workday Training, OJTCert, EDC, SharePoint, MT Groups, ECN, PDR) is preferred.
- Excellent skills for leading or facilitating multi-organizational teams to success on complex multidimensional projects/programs
- Knowledge and experience with Micron systems (EDC, SharePoint, MT Groups, ECN, PDR) is preferred.

Analyze and benchmark equipment performance.
Identify and develop training and certification programs that support global and site efforts
Develop appropriate metrics to drive improvement (On time PM’s, MTTF, MTTR etc.)
Send out regular updates with key items of focus and initiatives.
You will review FIPA/METS events and provide recommendations to drive the reduction of critical Electrical impact events.
Collaborate with the construction / engineering team to insure alignment on projects
Support the network effort to implement, monitor and drive continuous improvement for success of Micron’s Sustainability programs in alignment with the long-term Sustainability strategy
Benchmark system performance and drive Best-In-Class approach (BICs) across network
In depth review of site sustainability projects and sustainability data monitoring to support site’s and company’s sustainability targets.
Provide technical advice and support to overcome challenges and roadblocks in project planning & execution
Support sustainability projects achievement data acquisition and validation in central tracking depository.
Conduct, Analyze and create improvement actions based on electrical systems studies using design software tools such as SKM or ETAP.
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in an Electrical Engineering discipline or equivalent work experience
Excellent analytical and good decision making skills
Excellent interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to communicate effectively at all levels within the organization
Excellent teamwork and collaboration with other groups, internally and externally
Proven ability to solve problems across multi-functional and multi-cultural groups within and outside facilities
Proven ability to multi-task and lead team to meet challenging deadlines and goals
Proven ability to continuously improve systems and processes
Ability to foster strong relationships from cross-functional and multi-cultural groups
Exceptional customer focus
Education Required
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in Electrical Engineering or any related field of study
Experience Required
8+ years of Facility Engineering experience and preferred with Semiconductor Industry experience.
Experience Desired
Lead or actively involved in global facility engineering efforts
