GLOBAL FACILITIES SOUTH ASIA REGIONAL WATER ENGINEER
As the Facilities regional Water engineer, you will be responsible for leading water and waste water system design for construction projects, providing technical support, expertise, and lead business process alignment on operational and maintenance programs for all front and back end sites. As a global team member residing in your current site/geography, you will represent all regional facility O&M alignment initiatives.You will also lead the design for construction team and incorporate critical operational and maintenance into design for construction projects. You will work with central team on critical metrics, include eliminating production events that minimize lost moves and scrap.
Responsibilities And Tasks
Expert understanding of each sites UPW/WWT systems operational and maintenance capabilities in order to provide critical support.
Leading UPW/WWT system design for construction projects
In addition to your global water engineering role you will also provide site/regional support for global facility initiatives at your location.
Technically lead a global cross functional team focused on operational excellence with the site systems engineers.
Provide support to all sites including on site presence for criticalfailures.
Actively involved in TPM implementation and alignment along with ongoing support
Drive improvement in the quality of our utilities through variation reduction (SPC).
Drive the alignment for common methodologies including SPC, conformance, SIPP’s, MOC and 8D problem solving throughout the network.
Identify and deploy cost reduction efforts while optimizing and reducing energy usage forUPW/WWT systems throughout the network.
Assess and insure effective and consistent PM and predictive maintenance programs, procedures and checklists across the network.
Regular communication with the site engineering and O&M teams on status and performance.
Analyze and benchmark equipment performance.
Identify and develop training and certification programs that support global and site efforts
Develop appropriate metrics to drive improvement (On time PM’s, MTTF, MTTR etc.).
Send out regular updates with key items of focus and initiatives. You will review FIPA/METS events and provide recommendations to drive the reduction of criticalimpact events.
Collaborate with the construction / engineering team to insure alignment on projects.
Review site sustaining capital requests in collaboration with construction/engineering.
Support the network effort to implement, monitor and drive continuous improvement for success of Micron’s Sustainability programs in alignment with the long-term Sustainability strategy.
Benchmark system performance and drive Best-In-Class approach (BICs) across network.
Provide technical advice and support to overcome challenges and roadblocks in project planning & execution.
Support sustainability projects achievement data acquisition and validation in central tracking depository.

The Global Facilities Cost Team (FACCOST) drives alignment and benchmarking of facilities cost categories across Micron's global facilities network to achieve cost efficiency and maximize benefits.
FACCOST focuses on planning and prioritizing cost-related strategic programs. We collaborate with all Facilities Network and cross-functional groups to drive deliverables that support both the Organization's and Company's goals. Key areas include Budgeting and Funding Process, Cost Savings, Cost Performance Metrics, and Quarterly Facilities Business Planning.
Role And Responsibilities
Capital Management
Coordinate budgeting and funding reviews with the facilities network, Finance, Procurement, and Planning stakeholders.
Oversee project execution, monitor PO and project progress with stakeholders towards completion, and identify mitigation plans to resolve risks in project delays.
Define cost-saving strategies with Project Owners, Engineering, and Procurement stakeholders.
Capital Data Integration
Develop reporting capabilities, such as Power Bi Data Analytic, to support detailed data analysis.
Partner with Planning, Finance, and Procurement stakeholders to examine spend trends, cost drivers, and cost performance.
Ensure accurate spend data and collaborate with Project Owners to meet Capex Compliance Metrics.
Strategic Capital Program
Govern and support construction project cost-related processes, benchmarking, and performance metrics.
Collaborate with Planning to examine the Long-Range Plan (LRP) and assess high-level scenario impacts for Facilities.
Oversee Facilities capital programs and business processes, providing continuous support to address complex issues and close any gaps
Requirements
Good understanding of Micron’s Capital Processes (preferable with fundamental knowledge of Facilities operations/engineering, Facilities cost model)
Ability to effectively organize and facilitate meetings.
Demonstrate Project Management capability to manage and move cost projects effectively through the project lifecycle.
Familiarity and able to navigate cost information system applications such as SAP, FMS.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong collaboration and excellent interpersonal skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Adaptability to embrace Business Volatility.
Excellent PC skills, especially in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook as the candidate will need to manage and analyze a significant amount of data and provide a concise summary.
Organized and detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy
Demonstrate high level integrity in managing sensitive data.
Demonstrate cultural sensitivity and respect.

- Review and advise on scope, schedule, and cost estimates for Facilities infrastructure additions or modifications
Provide Global Initiatives Program Support, Leadership, and Expertise
- Support, review, and provide feedback/lessons learned of the Micron Global Best Known Methods documents with focus and emphasis on Operations and Maintenance Reliability and/or Performance
- Support, review, and provide feedback/lessons learned of the Global Facilities Programs & Initiatives, including for program implementation and execution
- Support the Global Facilities Sustainability Programs in support of Micron's Corporate Sustainability goals and initiatives, including for program implementation and execution
- Support, review, and provide feedback on the Lessons Learned from Micron Global, Regional, and Site teams that will be incorporated into the Micron Global Standards and BKMs
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering required
- Minimum 15 to 20-years experience in Semiconductor and/or Facilities related industry
- Technical expertise, knowledge, and experience on Facilities and Semiconductor Mechanical and Electrical Systems
- Ability to build and lead teams, develop people and their career growth, and focus the team on performing to meet strategic objectives
- Ability to prioritize and schedule workload and work on multiple tasks concurrently
- Good organizational skills and Service demeanor.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and good team working skills
- Self-motivated worker
- Familiarity with Semiconductor Manufacturing and Facilities systems

Job Requirements:

- Technical expertise, knowledge, and experience on Facilities and Semiconductor Mechanical, Process, Chemical, Gases, Water, and Wastewater Systems

Lead and Manage Multi-Discipline Engineering Team

Ensure works comply with statutory and fire safety requirements (e.g., SCDF, BCA, WSH).
Source, appoint, and manage service providers (security, cleaning, landscaping, M&E contractors, lift maintenance, etc.).
Coordinate space planning, allocation, and optimisation for company departments or tenants.
Handle tenancy-related matters, including lease agreements, fit-out guidelines, and reinstatement
General Administration
Provide administrative support to a manager, a group of managers or a whole department.
Ensure efficient use, maintenance and management of office equipment and resources.
Manage front desk duties, respond to internal and external enquiries, and handle office supply requisitions.
Coordinate business travel arrangements, including flight and accommodation bookings.
Take clear meeting minutes and circulate them to relevant stakeholders
Prepare and maintain administrative documents using Microsoft Office.
Perform tasks as assigned by direct supervisor.
Job Requirements
What we are looking for in an Operations Specialist
Diploma or above, preferably in Facilities Management, Building Management, Hospitality, or a related field.
Minimum 1 years of experience in facilities, building services, or asset maintenance.
Familiar with Singapore regulations and codes (e.g., Fire Code, BCA, WSH).
Knowledge of M&E systems, building infrastructure, and vendor management.
Proficiency in English and Knowledge in Chinese to liaise with Chinese‐speaking counterparts
Willingness to occasionally work on weekend when required for essential building maintenance or project works
Being ready to take on new responsibilities and be willing to learn new things.
Self-motivated, proactive and have a keen eye for detail
Possess good interpersonal skills, strong in coordination, problem-solving

Job Description
- Lead, supervise, and manage all aspects of BMS works including design, engineering, material selection, fabrication, and site execution.
- Review and validate BMS system architecture, control logic, network configuration, and interface requirements with other systems (e.g., M&E, Fire Protection, Security, SCADA, and Plant Control Systems).
- Coordinate with consultants, clients, contractors, and vendors to ensure alignment with project specifications, authority requirements, and industry standards .
- Manage the preparation, submission, and approval of shop drawings, material submittals, method statements, and testing procedures .
- Oversee installation, testing, and commissioning (T&C) works to achieve project milestones and handover schedules.
- Ensure proper integration of BMS with subsystems (HVAC, electrical, lighting, lifts, fire alarm, access control, and environmental monitoring systems).
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting during construction, commissioning, and defect liability periods.
- Monitor project cost, schedule, and quality performance , ensuring compliance with contractual obligations.
- Manage a team of BMS engineers, supervisors, and subcontractors, including work allocation, progress monitoring, and performance review .
- Enforce workplace safety and quality assurance standards during site execution.
Report project progress, risks, and issues to senior management and stakeholders.
- Education:
Degree in Electrical / Electronics / Instrumentation / Building Services Engineering or equivalent.
Relevant professional certifications (e.g., PMP, BCA Specialist Registration, LEED, Energy Management) will be advantageous.
- Experience:
Minimum 10 years of experience in BMS works, with at least 5 years in a managerial capacity overseeing large-scale infrastructure or industrial projects.
Proven track record in design, procurement, installation, testing, and commissioning of BMS systems in complex projects (preferably power plants, incineration plants, data centers, airports, or large industrial facilities).
Strong knowledge of BMS software platforms (e.g., Siemens, Schneider, Honeywell, Johnson Controls) and industry communication protocols (e.g., BACnet, Modbus, OPC, LonWorks).
Experience in system integration and interfacing with SCADA, EMS, and other plant systems .
- Skills & Competencies:
Excellent project management, coordination, and stakeholder management skills .
Strong technical knowledge in M&E systems, automation, instrumentation, and control systems.
Good understanding of Singapore codes, regulations, and authority submission processes (e.g., BCA, EMA, NEA, SCDF).

About the role
