The Global Director, Media & Partnerships role will drive media buying, agency operations and campaign optimization. This is a team leadership role covering APAC, EMEA, US regions.
Description
The Global Director, Media & Partnerships, will report to the Global Head of Marketing and lead a geographically distributed team. This role requires a strong focus on shaping global media architecture and influencing senior stakeholders. You need to have a rare combination of strategic clarity and operational excellence. You will also provide guidance to other portfolio brands in the group.
The measures of success in this role are:
- Media strategy: develop and lead the global media strategy that aligns with the group's business objectives.
- Center of Excellence: establish and lead the loyalty COE, serving as the key resource for brand equity, driver of traffic and transactions.
- Omnichannel execution: oversee end-to-end media investment across paid, owned, and earned channels.
- Partnering brand leaders: establishing trust with regional and brand leaders and aligning strategy & execution.
- Innovation: pilot and scale innovation in platforms, formats and martech.
- Talent development: leading a team of senior experts, it will be a core focus to develop in-house talent who can take global leadership roles in the team and head verticals like media buying etc.
Peers in this role will be leads for CRM, Brand & Design etc.
Profile
A successful Global Director, Media & Partnerships - FMCG should have:
- MBA, Masters in Marketing, Business, or a relevant discipline.
- Twelve or more years' experience in managing media strategy across brand and performance marketing within a globally recognized brand, ideally in a multi-brand setup within FMCG, hospitality or retail.
- Five or more years in a role with a wide regional coverage, with exposure to APAC, EMEA and/or US
- Solid track record in using data and insights to measure campaign effectiveness and advising the CMO and other CXOs.
- Strong knowledge of martech/AdTech stacks and comfort working with analytics and finance teams.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Flexibility to travel, up to 40%

- Delivery and Client Engagement : The Global Director – Finished Vehicles also works with clients globally, conducting meetings with (or in the absence of) Global Vertical VP. They function as a central point of contact for DPW’s FVL sub-vertical and are expected to assist internal and external clients with anything/everything FVL. The FVL vertical leader keeps track of all metrics for the FVL sub-vertical and maintains / creates appropriate collateral, presentations and other materials for use within and outside (with customers) of the FVL sub-vertical.
- People and Culture : Working with the Global Vertical VP, ensures high performing & collaborating automotive team promoting engagement and ensuring that everyone is developed and evaluated against goals and objectives which are aligned, specific, measurable, attainable yet challenging, realistic and time bound.

About the Team

OverviewPosition Summary: We are seeking a visionary and globally-minded Medical Director to join our Global leadership team. Your primary mandate is to shape and contribute to our global medical strategy. You will be the key scientific bridge, integrating insights for the global development plans for our portfolio. Responsibilities- Global Strategy & Contribution (50%): Serve as a voting member of the Global Medical Affairs Team (GMAT) or Global Product Team (GPT), providing a unique perspective from a high-growth, strategically vital region.
- Contribute to the development of Integrated Evidence Plans (IEP), Global Medical Strategies, and Lifecycle Management (LCM) plans for assigned products.
- Provide critical medical input into global clinical development programs, including trial design, site selection (leveraging Indian clinical trial centers), and interpretation of results.
- Champion the medical needs and opportunities specific to emerging markets within global strategy forums.

- Synthesize medical insights from KOLs in SEA, India and other emerging markets and translate them into actionable recommendations for the global strategy.

- Drive the global medical communication strategy, ensuring global publication and medical education plans incorporate Indian data and perspectives.
- Indian Affiliate Leadership & Enablement (20%): While the primary focus is global, you will provide scientific guidance and oversight to the local Indian affiliate team (currently small or planned), ensuring flawless execution of global strategies locally.
- Act as the primary medical contact for the Asia region commercial teams including Indian affiliate for complex medical inquiries and issues escalation to the global team.
- Future Responsibility: Mentor and potentially build out a local Indian medical team that can support both global projects and local tactical execution.
- Medical Degree (MBBS/MD) required. An advanced degree (e.g., PhD, MBA) is highly desirable.
- 10+ years of experience in Medical Affairs within a global or regional (e.g., APAC, EMEA) role in a multinational pharmaceutical company.
- Proven experience on a Global Product Team, Global Medical Affairs Team, or similar cross-regional strategic body.
- Demonstrated success in contributing to global medical strategies, including involvement in global publication plans, advisory boards, and/or clinical development programs.
- Strong understanding of global regulatory environments (FDA, EMA, etc.) and international compliance standards.
- Established network with global KOLs in relevant Therapeutic Areas.
- Exceptional strategic thinking, leadership, and influencing skills to drive consensus without direct authority in a complex matrix environment.
- Fluency in English is mandatory. Proficiency in Mandarin Chinese is a significant strong plus, given the need for close collaboration with China HQ.
