Strategic Marketing Specialist – Asia Pacific is a competency leadership position for B2B strategic marketing, accountable for analyzing the market, identifying growth opportunities, and validating unique value propositions for company PVOH business with initial focus in Southeast Asia and South Asia region.
This role will be based in Company Asia Headquarter in Singapore and report to Head of Sales Asia Pacific, as well as receive functional guidance from Head of Global Marketing &Sales.
Responsibilities
1. Market Research
a. Analyze market trends.
i. Macro trend assessment
ii. Competitive analysis
b. Identify emerging and untapped growth opportunities.
i. Market segmentation
c. Prioritize opportunities and make business recommendations.
i. Targeting
ii. Positioning
2. Project Management
a. Lead assigned projects such as market development, new productdevelopment, or new business model development.
b. Lead cross-functional team to commercialize business through stage-gate
innovation management process
3. Competency leadership
a. Train and coach, the organization on key strategic marketing frameworks and
methodologies such as:
i. Market sizing
ii. Market segmentation
iii. Financial modeling (NPV, IRR models, break-even analysis)
iv. Value chain analysis
v. VOC analysis
vi. Value proposition development
vii. Value pricing
viii. 4P strategy
b. Develop tools, as needed.
c. Effective in virtual global team leadership (across Americas, Europe, and Asia Pacific)
Requirements:
- 3+ years’ experience in strategic marketing or strategy position.
- Experience in B2B material science company is a plus.
- 5+ years in customer facing position.
- MBA or equivalent degree/qualification.
