The Marketing, Brands & Communications Manager will partner with the Sales and Product teams to spur commercial flows and demand for our firm's investment offerings and collaborate with various functions globally to amplify our impact by educating and engaging prospects and clients.

Key Responsibilities

Serve as the brand ambassador for the region, providing guidance to local markets on the brand strategy and guidelines. Develop brand templates for regional activation.

Enhance brand visibility through APAC-wide awards planning, actively coordinate award submissions and packages for the region.

Manage internal communications in the region and spotlight firm-wide priorities and achievements through in-house channels and townhalls.

Organise in-person, hybrid and virtual events and manage sponsorship activities, to promote BNPP AM's value proposition, brand and investment offerings, while reinforcing the firm's market presence. Responsible for end-to-end event management and budgeting.

Create and localise quality marketing assets (including presentations, brochures, flyers, videos and electronic direct mailers) across offline and digital channels to promote our investment capabilities and focused funds. Craft story angles and produce content in innovative formats to appeal to our target audiences. Facilitate the review of marketing material to ensure compliance with local regulations.

Key Internal / External Relationships

Internal: Marketing, Brands and Communications teams in APAC and globally, Sales teams, Product and Investment teams, Compliance teams and the BNPP group.

External: Vendors and potentially clients at events

ROLE REQUIREMENTS

Essential Qualifications & Experience

Degree in Communications, Marketing or Business

Four years+ of experience in marketing and communications

Knowledge on financial concepts and investment products, preferably with an asset management background

A creative individual who possesses a flair for powerful story-telling and synthesizing complex ideas into clear, simple messages

Excellent project and time management skills, with the ability to work autonomously and meet demanding deadlines

Fluent in English and Chinese, an excellent communicator (both written and verbal)

Job Overview:
The Asset Management Associate plays a key role in the day-to-day management of renewable energy assets, including wind, solar, and other renewable energy projects. The role involves assessment, development, and execution of projects under investment, monitoring asset performance, optimizing operational efficiency, and supporting financial and risk management activities to ensure the smooth execution and operation of the renewable portfolio. The ideal candidate will have a passion for renewable energy and experience in asset management or operations within the energy sector.
Your Role:
Asset Monitoring & Performance Analysis: Track and analyze the performance of renewable energy assets, ensuring they meet operational and financial targets. Use data analytics tools to monitor energy production, efficiency, and identify opportunities for improvement.
Operational Support: Coordinate with internal teams and third-party operators to ensure optimal operation and maintenance of assets, handling troubleshooting and corrective actions as needed.
Financial Reporting & Forecasting: Support the preparation of financial models, and cash flow projections. Assist with budgeting and forecasting for operational and maintenance expenses.
Risk Management: Help identify potential risks related to asset performance, regulatory compliance, and market conditions. Contribute to risk mitigation strategies and contingency planning.
Regulatory Compliance & Reporting: Ensure that assets comply with all relevant local, regional, and national regulations. Assist in preparing and submitting necessary compliance reports to authorities.
Stakeholder Engagement: Liaise with various internal and external stakeholders including investors, contractors, and regulatory bodies. Provide timely updates on asset performance and operational issues.
Data Management & Reporting: Utilize asset management software and other tools to gather and maintain comprehensive data on asset performance, incidents, and improvements. Preparation of asset management and operation performance reports for stakeholders.
Continuous Improvement: Stay current with trends and innovations in the renewable energy sector and bring forward suggestions for improving asset performance and operational efficiency.
Project Development and Execution: Support in development and execution of projects in assessment and due diligence activities such as feasibility studies, resource assessments, grid interconnection analysis, and environmental impact studies. Support in land acquisition activities. Support and coordinate permitting processes with local, state, and federal agencies to ensure compliance with environmental, zoning, and land-use regulations. Coordinate across multidisciplinary teams to ensure projects remain on schedule and within budget and oversee the transition from development to construction and to operation.
Your profile:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Finance, Environmental Science, Renewable Energy, or a related field.
At least 2-4 years of experience in asset management, operations, or a similar role within the renewable energy or energy sector.
Knowledge of energy markets, energy production optimization, and asset life-cycle management.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to work with large datasets and financial models.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and asset management software (e.g., SAP, Power BI, SCADA systems).
Good understanding of regulatory frameworks and industry standards in renewable energy.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams.
Problem-solving mindset with a proactive approach to operational issues.
Knowledge of renewable energy technologies (wind, solar, battery storage, etc.).
Knowledge of energy markets, power purchase agreements (PPAs), and regulatory frameworks.
Experience with renewable energy financial models and performance metrics.
Familiarity with project management tools and processes.

This position will lead and support the strategy for the newly created Asset Management ("AM") team within the Leveraged Finance business for APAC. This AM business is focused on three key areas 1. Managing the Credit Analysis of the existing 55+ Leveraged and Acquisition Finance ("LAF") borrowers across 8 Asian countries 2. Providing a Portfolio overlay function for reporting and then proactively right sizing the existing exposures, based on underlying credit performance 3. Managing the distribution of existing Portfolio via a combination of CRI, Secondary and Portfolio sales. The role will manage a team across APAC with multiple stakeholders being a key feature of the position.
The position will have the ability to exercise exceptional credit judgement for sub-investment grade Sponsor owned Borrowers in a diversity of situations, with strong written and verbal communication, proactive independent thinking, administrative excellence and organisational skills, with the ability to maintain a realistic balance among multiple priorities. Existing Credit, Portfolio management, Team leadership and Work-out experience will be highly valued.
**Job Responsibilities:**
+ Ongoing monitoring and management of a portfolio and existing 55+ borrowers of non-investment grade, financial sponsor-backed financings originated by LAF group
+ To conduct analysis and monitoring of portfolio and proactive management of long-term debt sizing and distribution activities of LAF assets
+ Responsible for timely and well managed reporting of LAF portfolio for the stakeholders including but not limited to senior management and audit, ensuring portfolio adherence to internal and external requirements and procedures
+ To assist refinancing and cross-sell opportunities with portfolio borrowers in conjunction with LAF, Financial Sponsor Coverage, Capital Markets, Transaction Banking, Corporate Relationship Managers and other relevant internal counterparties
+ Leading the setting of strategic framework for the new LAF Asset Management team
+ Responsible for the day-to-day management of the Asset Management Team with 4-6 members across APAC
**Job Requirements:**
+ Minimum 3 years of experience in the banking or finance sector, including leveraged finance and portfolio credit management
+ Experience in working with stakeholders across the multiple region
+ Working knowledge of leveraged finance, credit analysis, corporate banking, and capital markets, with proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel (e.g., pivot tables, financial modelling, data analysis) and PowerPoint (e.g., preparing presentations for stakeholders).
