OVERVIEW
The role of a General Maintenance Worker cum Driver is to perform general logistic and minor maintenance work within School compound. The role will also provide transport services with high standard of safety and care for staff and students.
RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Estate Maintenance Duties
a. espond to repair and maintenance requests, apply basic fixes within School compound. Including changing of light bulbs, faulty faucet and repairing of faulty cupboard lock and hinge,
b. Assist with mitigating pest control measures, like placement and disposal of traps in School,
c. Escalate to Admin & Ops Manager and Facilities Executive for maintenance issues that cannot be resolved locally.
2. General Operational Duties
a. Assist with logistical set up for ad hoc events like moving of tables and chairs,
b. Assist in distribution of ad hoc donation items or packs to students in School,
c. Assist in transfer of bulky items during periodic disposal of bulky items,
d. Assist in daily transport bay duties, including transferring of students on wheelchair and ensuring students disembark from School Transport Buses safely.
e. Assist in simple wheelchairs repairs and maintenance.
3. Driver Duties
a. Responsible for transport of staff / students to and from assigned venue / activities safely, according to assigned schedule.
b. Assist students to board and disembark safely from vehicle during transport duties
c. Assist with dispatch of documents or equipment to student homes and office where required
d. Comply with LTA Government Authority’s traffic and parking rules while executing driver duties.
4. V hicle maintenance.
a. Upkeep vehicle in good serviceable condition always, report any defects immediately,
b. Clean and wash assigned vehicle,
c. Coordinate maintenance, servicing, and repair of vehicle with Admin & Ops Manager and Facilities Executive to pass yearly LTA inspection.
5. Others
a. Staff will be assigned to assist in classrooms during lull period where no maintenance and driver duties are assigned.
b. Undertake any other duties as assigned by Principal, Vice-Principal, Admin & Ops Manager and Facilities Executive.

**Responsibilities**
**JOB SUMMARY:**
**Perform a variety of routine tasks such as repair, modification, calibration, troubleshooting, and testing of In-Flight Entertainment System** **to ensure repair shop quality standards are met.**
**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:**
+ Perform the set-up, calibration, testing, and troubleshooting of circuits, components, instruments, and mechanical assemblies. Perform proper repairs and/or modifications of all aircraft electronics equipment and some test equipment at the board level and component level.
+ Perform hand set-ups for digital tests. Recognize failures and set-up problems, and determine the need for appropriate verification. Act as a technical resource in the analysis of failures when required.
+ Position and align parts and components. Secure them in place or remove them using appropriate, various methods including soldering, crimping, fastening, gluing, etc.
+ Test and troubleshoot complex analog and digital electronics systems to the component level. In other words, able to ana both digital and analog electronic circuits and able to set up and operate test equipment.
+ Assess design configuration status of units under repair by referencing engineering documentation and maintenance manuals.
+ Identify and navigate to appropriate electronic engineering and maintenance documentation to conduct repair actiolyzens, and to record required information on all repairs and publication discrepancies.
+ Install assemblies in cases or cabinets.
+ Generate repair cost quotation worksheets to be transmitted to the end customer.
**KEY QUALIFICATIONS:**
+ Must have at least a Diploma or Higher Nitec/ Degree in Engineering/ Electronics Technology/ Aerospace Technology or equivalent.
+ This position requires at least 1 year of working experience in the related field.
+ Preferably, those with working experience troubleshooting electronic products.
**KEY KNOWLEDGE & SKILL REQUIREMENTS:**
+ Ability to read and understand schematics and other technical publications in order to facilitate troubleshooting, repair, and testing of equipment.
+ Understanding of electronic circuit design to facilitate fault isolation and troubleshooting.
+ Ability to carry out tester set-up and calibration.
+ Understanding of basic airworthiness requirements.
+ Ability to operate programmable auto-testers, samplers, real-time oscilloscopes, pulse generators, meters, power supplies, and special test fixtures.
+ Ability to use Volt-ohm meters, oscilloscopes, frequency meters, distortion analyzers, audio and video signal generators, and semi-automatic test equipment.
+ Ability to work on complex, miniature electromechanical devices using common hand tools; knowledge of using power tools.
+ Excellent soldering techniques and understanding of soldering techniques on surface mount technology, where acrylic conformal coating is used, are required.
+ To maintain a wide variety of avionics equipment; hence, acquiring the know-how and mastering the skills and product knowledge is mandatory.
