Job Responsibility:-

Customer Enquiry Handling

• Address / Feedback customer enquiries related to Lab.

• Communicate customer special requirements to Internal Departments.

• Resolve issues related to report delivery and service quality.

Job Coordination & Communication

• Coordinate job assignments with Lab analysts and relevant departments.

• Manage customer data and job documentation (e.g. job sheets, COC forms).

• Handle logistics for sample collection and delivery.

• Oversee subcontracted tests, including PO preparation etc.

Incoming Registry and Lab Administration

• Manage registration and labeling of test samples.

• Support lab staff with sample distribution and testing requirements.

• Assist Managers and Section Heads with general lab admin duties.

• Ensure clear communication of testing requirements across teams.
  

Job Requirement:-

• ITE qualification and above, with or without a related field of study

• No prior work experience required — training will be provided

• Entry-level candidates are welcome to apply

• Experience in using basic laboratory equipment is an added advantage

• Must be self-driven, a good team player, and possess strong communication skills.

1. Cleaning and Washing: Clean lab glassware, equipment, and apparatus with precision and care.

2. Chemical/Solution Preparation: Prepare cleaning solutions and handle chemicals with attention to safety protocols.

3. Equipment Operation: Operate autoclaves, ovens, and other lab equipment with ease and efficiency.

4. Housekeeping and Waste Management: Maintain cleanliness and manage waste in accordance with laboratory safety protocols.

5. Administrative Duties: Monitor temperatures, handle reports, and perform data entry with accuracy and attention to detail.

Job Responsibilities:

1. Cleaning and Washing Duties

• Wash and clean laboratory glassware and apparatus, both manually and using machines

• Perform soaking and washing of lab glassware according to designated room requirements

• Wash and soak glassware/apparatus used for cigarette testing, clean ashtray, cartridge and holder

• Work with diluted acids for soaking/cleaning apparatus/glassware

• Perform general cleaning of centrifuge, sonicator, fume cupboards

2. Chemical and Solution Preparation

• Prepare cleaning solutions (detergents) and refill solvent bottles

• Handle and decant solvent from primary container (~25kg) into secondary containers

• Prepare bleach dilution solutions according to lab Standard Operating Procedures (SOP)

• Prepare and neutralise bleach according to lab Standard Operating Procedures (SOP)

3. Equipment Operation and Material Preparation

• Operate simple equipment (glassware washer, autoclave, oven, Ultrapure water systems)

• Prepare consumables for autoclaving and laboratory processes

• Assist in preparing materials and containers for case work

• Refill consumables such as pipette tips, gloves

4. Housekeeping and Waste Management

• Perform general housekeeping (cleaning and tidying of cupboards, ovens, refrigerators, freezers)

• Sweeping and mopping of floors

• Clear general waste, chemical, biohazard and cytotoxic waste bins

• Handle and sort bulk and heavy laboratory consumables

Job Requirements:

• Prior experience in Laboratory Setting particulary in the washing and cleaning of laboratory glassware and appratus is preferred
• Knowledge of Laboratory Safety protocols and proper handling of laboratory equipment
• On-Job Training will be provided
