About the Role

We are looking for a certified and experienced Google Cloud Engineer to design, deploy, and manage scalable and secure cloud infrastructure and containerized applications.

The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) , Kubernetes (GKE) , and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform .

You’ll work closely with DevOps and development teams to implement best practices in automation, CI/CD, monitoring, and security.

Key Responsibilities & Requirements

Job Description

The successful candidate will join one of SIA Group's Cloud/DevOps teams, focusing on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate closely with the application stakeholders to deliver GCP infrastructure services that are resilient and secure, adhering to best practices for data management and processing.
• Administer and manage cloud infrastructure deployment on GCP, including provisioning and de-provisioning resources, maintaining security posture, monitoring resource utilization, configuring networks, and managing backup/restore processes.

Requirements:

• A degree in Information Technology or a related field; GCP Certified Professional Cloud Architect certification is preferred.
• A minimum of 5 years of Cloud Infrastructure experience, with at least 3 years of hands-on experience working on GCP. Hands-on experience with AWS or Azure is preferred.
• Proficient in Python and Ansible scripting, with a solid understanding of data structures, algorithm design/analysis, and SQL.
