- You are hiring a GCP Architect for a global Systems Integration / IT Services major. As a GCP Architect, your role will involve architecting, designing, and leading the development of enterprise-level cloud applications using Google Cloud Platform services. You will be responsible for configuring, hosting, managing, and monitoring applications in Google Cloud. Additionally, you will conduct Google Cloud assessments, modernization initiatives, and migrations for enterprise-level applications. It will be your responsibility to establish, document, and implement best practices for end-to-end application initiation and deployment processes. You will also manage multiple GCP projects across all phases, lead and collaborate with diverse, geographically distributed teams, and establish technical strategy and architecture at an enterprise level.To be successful in this role, you should have a minimum of 8+ years of experience in cloud architecture, with at least 3 years as a GCP architect. You must be Google Cloud Certified as a Professional Cloud Architect and possess expertise in GCP services including Compute, Storage, Database, Networking, and Security. Your experience should include architecture, design, and development of GCP applications using Java, .NET, Python, or Node.js. Hands-on experience with GCP services such as Cloud Endpoints, Pub/Sub, Cloud Functions, Cloud Run, Cloud Composer, and Dataflow is essential. A strong background in DevOps, Microservices, Docker, Kubernetes, and GCP Data services is also required. Excellent communication, presentation, leadership, and management skills are essential for this role. Preferred qualifications include hands-on automation experience with Terraform, Ansible, Packer, or GitHub, knowledge of design patterns for GCP third-party tools setup, native tools usage, and multi-cloud experience.The role of GCP Architect reports to the Principal Director - Architecture and is based in Pune, Mumbai, Bangalore, Chennai, Hyderabad, or Kolkata. The work mode is hybrid, allowing for a mix of remote and on-site work. The selection process consists of two technical rounds followed by HR discussions.,

Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate closely with the application stakeholders to deliver GCP infrastructure services that are resilient and secure, adhering to best practices for data management and processing.
- Administer and manage cloud infrastructure deployment on GCP, including provisioning and de-provisioning resources, maintaining security posture, monitoring resource utilization, configuring networks, and managing backup/restore processes.
- Troubleshoot issues effectively, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective and preventive actions during and after incidents to minimize downtime.
