A rare opportunity exists for outstanding Early Childhood Teachers and Literacy Teachers to join our Team to deliver our world class Literacy Program in our Preschool.

The program was created by a team of Australian Literacy Experts and is based on the Early Years Framework.

Job Description:

• Plan, supervise, and implement the Literacy programme for the class in accordance with the policies, guidelines, framework and philosophy of MindChamps.
• Prepare age-appropriate teaching aids and implement the programme in class.
• Use positive guidance strategies and techniques at all times.
• Maintain and build strong relationships with the Champs and their parents.
• Keep accurate records of the Champs' progress. Address each Champ's educational and developmental needs on an individual basis to the best of your ability.

Our ideal candidates are passionate educators who are eager to raise their teaching craft to a whole new level, and who meet the following criteria:

• Diploma in Early Childhood Education/ Educational Studies (Early Years Enrichment, Creative Language Arts, Speech and Drama, etc)
• Minimum of 1 year's classroom teaching experience with learners aged 3 to 7 years old
• Energetic, creative and inspiring personality with dynamic and energetic lesson delivery skills
• Excellent communication and classroom management skills
• Knowledge in educational, developmental and cognitive psychology
• Strong command of the English Language (spoken and written)

We are seeking an experienced and passionate English Creative Writing teacher to deliver engaging lessons to Primary level students in alignment with Singapore's national curriculum.

• Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver high-quality English Creative Writing lessons based on the MOE curriculum.
• Engage students using effective and creative teaching strategies to build interest and confidence in English Writing.
• Create a positive and conducive learning environment that encourages active participation and academic excellence.
• Monitor student progress, identify learning gaps, and provide timely feedback and support.
• Maintain open and supportive communication with parents regarding students' development and learning goals.
• Build meaningful relationships with students to foster motivation, discipline, and long-term learning success.

• Must be NIE Trained or MOE/EX-MOE Teacher or Experience Group Tuition Tutor, with a strong understanding of the Singapore English Writing syllabus.
• Minimum 1 year of group teaching experience or private tutoring in English Writing.
• Strong classroom management and communication skills.
• Patient, nurturing, and genuinely invested in student development and well-being.
• Able to commit to a consistent part-time teaching schedule.
• Willingness to travel for on-site assignments.

Every Tuesday: 3.30pm to 5pm and 5.30 to 7pm at Compassvale Lane.

Job Type: Part-time, Permanent, Contract, Freelance.

Contract Length: 12 months.

Pay: $45.00 per hour.
