Our APAC team (Singapore, Malaysia, Sydney, Melbourne) is made up of 40+ consultants with deep expertise across the AWM industry. Our clients include Asset Owners, Managers and Servicers, Wealth Managers and Insurers. We provide our clients with a range of services covering Target Operating Models, Data Governance and Strategy, Implementations, Migrations, Benchmarking and Provider Selections.
Role Responsibilities:
As a Consultant / Manager at Alpha FMC, you will take a leading role in driving our change programs. You may be leading a workstream within a larger program; or helping to drive projects and produce deliverables for smaller projects alongside a small team of other Alpha resources. You will be responsible for identifying and implementing solutions for a range of issues facing asset and wealth managers. Over the course of each project, you will collect and analyse data, prepare and test hypotheses, and present recommendations to the client to solve their unique business challenge. You’ll be playing a proactive, leadership role in driving our programs forward and engaging directly with senior client stakeholders to solve their business challenges.
You will be responsible for:
Engaging with stakeholders to drive & lead execution against effective project plans, anticipate potential issues, and provide structured solutions to ensure a successful client engagement
Leading a workstream or component of a project, taking responsibility for the creation of client deliverables by facilitating client interviews and workshops, performing analysis in Excel, synthesising clear insights from complex information, and developing content that clearly articulates recommendations
Developing meaningful and successful relationships with clients and vendors by understanding the different needs of stakeholders and establishing a high degree of credibility internally and externally
Supporting Alpha FMC’s broader business evolution, including co-authoring whitepapers, and performing market research to identify opportunities for Alpha
Contributing to the wider Alpha community by making innovative and proactive contributions to one or more of Alpha’s business management or practice areas
Maintaining a broad understanding of the challenges facing the Asset & Wealth Management Industry and knowledge of relevant issues and trends within one or more of Alpha’s practice areas
Role Requirements (Skills, Experience and Qualifications):
At least 3+ years of proven consulting experience at a recognised consulting firm or through an ‘in-house’ consulting / business analyst role at a leading financial institution
Experience within financial services
Experience in Asset and/or Wealth management a plus
Experience of projects engaged on Front-To-Back Transformation, Data, Middle Office / Back Office Transformation & Migration, Target Operating Model, Business Processes and/or IT solutions in some of the following areas: Investments, Operations, Distribution & CRM a plus
Good understanding of both public and private markets’ asset classes a plus
Excellent consulting and problem-solving skills, and familiarity with recognised project / change and consulting frameworks
Excellent written and verbal communication skills; the ability to articulate complex problems and solutions in a simple, logical, and impactful manner
Proven track record of building and sustaining lasting relationships with team members and client stakeholders
Intellectual capacity and ability to think in new, innovative ways to understand complex issues and develop creative solutions
Ability to comfortably multi-task and engage in multiple initiatives concurrently
Flexibility to travel if required
Strong academic background and degree from a leading institution
Business language fluency in English

Job Description

Overview
You will be part of a multi-disciplinary team which provides daily specialist outpatient and inpatient care in the Department of Cardiology. You will participate in ward rounds and combined department or hospital teaching seminars, including clinico-pathological case conferences. You will also represent the Centre at Coroner’s request or medico-legal hearings involving patients under the care of the department. In addition, you will assist with the training and guidance of junior doctors such as Resident Physicians, Medical Officers, Residents and Senior Residents.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities include participation in ward rounds, attendance at department or hospital teaching seminars, and involvement in clinico-pathological case conferences.
Requirements
A basic medical and relevant postgraduate qualification such as MRCP or equivalent, recognised by the Singapore Medical Council
An accredited Specialist in Cardiology with the Specialist Accreditation Board of Singapore
At least 6 years’ post-housemanship clinical experience
Documented proof of: (i) Measles (or MMR - Mumps, Measles and Rubella) vaccination or serological evidence of measles immunity; and (ii) Tdap (Tetanus, Diphtheria and Pertussis) vaccination received within the last 10 years, as required for all healthcare workers under the Healthcare Services Act. Applicants without these vaccinations may apply if they commit to completing the required vaccination(s) before work commencement, upon successful job offer.

Must possess a basic medical degree AND a postgraduate medical qualification
Postgraduate medical qualification or exit specialist equivalent qualification should be registrable with Singapore Medical Council
Must have specialty training which are recognised by the Specialists Accreditation Board (SAB), Singapore
Are require to produce documentary evidence of specialist training and specialist registration in the country of origin and from the relevant licensing body/organisation in the country where the specialty training was done
Preferably should have working experience in the country of origin as an accredited and licensed medical specialist
Must fulfill other criteria as stipulated by Singapore Medical Council for Conditional Medical Registration
Must meet English Language proficiency requirement of SMC if the medium of instruction for the basic medical qualification is not in English Language
