Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced professional to lead our demand forecasting and replenishment initiatives.

This strategic role involves driving the development and implementation of advanced solutions to optimize inventory management and ensure product availability.

The successful candidate will collaborate closely with various teams to define requirements, implement solutions, and drive continuous improvement in forecasting accuracy and replenishment processes.

  • Solution Development & Implementation
    • Develop and execute a comprehensive strategy for demand forecasting and replenishment, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
    • Evaluate and implement features of third-party F&R tools such as Blue Yonder, Relex, and others to address business needs.
    • Drive adoption of scalable solutions by ensuring proper configurations, integrations, and user training.
  • Forecasting Expertise
    • Provide insights into category dynamics and their impact on forecasting accuracy and replenishment cycles.
    • Collaborate with data science and analytics teams to incorporate AI/ML-driven forecasting models where relevant.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration
    • Work closely with business stakeholders, including Inventory, supply chain, category management, and IT teams, to capture requirements and define to-be business processes.
    • Interface with engineering and consulting teams to ensure seamless system integration and solution delivery.
  • Implementation & Optimization
    • Lead the end-to-end implementation, configuration, design, and testing of F&R solutions.
    • Continuously monitor solution performance and recommend enhancements based on user feedback and business needs.
  • Stakeholder Management
    • Serve as the primary point of contact for business and technical stakeholders, managing communications and resolving dependencies.
    • Identify roadblocks, mitigate risks, and ensure smooth project execution.
  • Process Improvement & Innovation
    • Proactively identify opportunities to improve forecasting and replenishment processes using advanced tools and technologies.
    • Stay updated on market trends and advancements in F&R platforms to advise on innovative solutions.

  • 7–8 years of hands-on experience in Demand Forecasting and Replenishment, Retail, and CPG functions.
  • Proven expertise in implementing, configuring, designing, and integrating leading F&R solutions like JDA/BY, Relex, Oracle RPAS, o9, Kinaxis, or Anaplan.
  • Strong understanding of category dynamics and their impact on demand planning and replenishment processes.
  • Experience in developing requirement specifications, process mapping, and capturing business needs for consulting and implementation.
  • Functional expertise in architecture, design, and testing of F&R systems, with a track record of driving successful implementations.
  • Solid experience in business analysis, including requirements elicitation, Agile methodologies, and stakeholder management.
  • Exceptional planning, coordination, and project management skills, with the ability to interface with multiple teams and resolve dependencies.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills, with the ability to align technical solutions with business goals.
  • Experience with assortment planning tools such as Oracle Retail RPAS, Anaplan, or o9 is a plus.
